Yes anyones voice can be manipulated to make them sound like the chipmunks but when it comes to voice acting it is more about how the actor delivers the lines that he/she is given & how much personality they bring to the character that they are playing. Its debatable but if they had gotten the wrong voice actors they would have probably made the chipmunks sound bland or something to that effect. Regardless of whoever voiced the Chipmunks in the first movie I still enjoyed it & thought they did a great job.

How about just using Janice Karman, Ross Bagdasarian, Jr's wife. The woman who was not only the creator of them but who has voiced them since their debut.

They are in under contract with Disney however & are slaves to the mouse so I don't know if they would have even been able to do any outside work with another studio or company.


Are they not using the Miss Miller character in the new movie who took care of the Chipettes on the cartoon show? There is no mention of her in the credits on IMDB.com.

they´ll probabaly stay with Dave´s ex girlfriend or maybe "Uncle Ian" has something to do about it.(rememeber the end of the 1st movie?)
