I think it could be an awesome movie.

It could be, but I don't think it's a great idea. Ideas and alternate Batmen work fine in comics, which come out monthly, but I don't think that works as well for films, which come out about one every 3 years. So if a Batman Beyond film did come out, then someone who preferred Bruce Wayne over Terry McGinnis would have have to wait about 3 years (2 years at least) to see the Batman they wanted.

If you and I were the only people in the universe than yes.

It might be an awesome movie, the show kicked ass, but I'm just gonna go out and say this. I never understood the appeal of BB. The kid goes around fighting crime in a flying powersuit, totally disrespectful to the original batman who relied on his wits, cunning, intelligence and strength. It's not the suit it's the man.

Not true.

Batman Beyond paid great homage to the original batman. Through villains, detective work, and even to some of the relationships that he encountered.

He wasn't as intelligent, due to his age and immaturity, but he always had Bruce in his backcorner to carry any slack he had. He had to make some split decisions in the show ones that usually Bruce got right and sometimes he got them right, sometimes wrong. The only thing to me that disrespected the old batman universe is the use of the jokerz. They never seemed like a force, and more of a joke "gang"

I am also a fan and hope we get a BBeyond movie, as I think it's a different direction then Chris Nolans, as well open a whole new mythos of story telling that hasn't been done before.

The biggest part is I just would love to see old bruce mentoring a newer younger batman, and especially seeing the original scene that I felt BBeyond cartoon got so right, was when Batman had to result to a gun to save his life.

From a business stand-point, I wouldn't count on ever seeing something like this. At the end of the day, Batman Beyond wasn't terribly successful. Likewise, it's a confusing alternate tangent timeline type thing that would just confuse people.

I liked Batman Beyond -- not at the time, but when I was older and could appreciate the legacy stuff more -- but it'll never be made into anything real world. If we ever got a "future" or "old" batman film, it would be Dark Knight Returns, and I doubt we'll get that even outside of animation.

That's just the way the business side of things goes.

I'd like it to happen but I deem it unlikely.

I'd love to see one. I'd love to see some of the Beyond villains used like Inque.

I am going to slap these kinds of people so hard their heads will do a full 360.
What is all this nonsense about timeline?

It's Batman! IN THE GODDAMN FUTURE! Deal with it!
Are people really that dim?

I would love to see this happen too,but who knows.

I personally think this is what WB should do after Nolan wraps up his trilogy. Its Batman but in so different a form, that it would easliy stand out from the Nolan trilogy. Plus I too love BB ALOT!

Eh

I think it would be so dark (darker than TDK) that I will find it too boring and too serious.

if done right it could be neat, although my favorite part of the show was old bruce, still brooding in batcave, but now with a dog

that struck me funny

as for time line, it's as reasonable as gotham by gaslight
okay maybe a little more reasonable than that... but close
