I really liked it, BUT I'm a little worried about the web rush... the momentum felt a little off

Looked pretty cool. I was right about the web rush thing. It was so fluid and acrobatic when used by someone who was used to the controls. Combat also has a very nice feel to it. They even adressed one of my problems with the Arkham games. In those games, when Batman has to attack an enemy that's really far away he does this ridiculously long distance spin punch. In this game, Spider-Man web zips to them and attacks them when he reaches them, makes so much more sense.

Personally, I thought the combat was great, lots of acrobatic moves. I also though web rush was great too once someone who actually could PLAY the game used it.

Although I think a big part of the fluidity of web rush, is dependent on us PRACTISING it

I just logged on. Sounds like I missed the interview...damn. Is there a link to the video yet?

I missed it. All of it. :(

Thanks! That looked great. Basically HD footage of the Carls Jr demo. Combat looked fluid and had some great moves in there...I am impressed with the system they've come up with and I wonder how deep the combat upgrades go. Should be awesome. Web swinging and web rush look fantastic. In all honesty, this game looks like it will win title of best Spidey video game. There's a lot to be revealed yet but this is just my gut feeling.

The new footage was nice, other than the person playing just running through the streets and plowing into cars and buses half of the time. :woot:

It was... okay, I guess (still would like to see more). I was impressed by the park fight with some punks: the fluidity of Spidey was just spot on.

I don't know man, plowing into cars and buses seems really exhilarating and exciting :o

I really wish there were more thugs to fight there though. Sure, it was fluid, but I really want to see spider-man surrounded by bad guys and beating everyone up with some nice flowing strikes. I really would like if this game was like Arkham City with webs, but it does look a bit different. I haven't played as Catwoman yet because I just got the GOTY edition of AC, but is her fighting style similar to Spidey's speed and multiple hits?

For those that would like to know...the new issue of Nintendo Power has a write up for the versions of ASM for Wii, 3DS and DS. They got a demo for all three platforms and posted some screenshots as well.

So wait.. Does this mean we're not gonna get another demo or new footage tomorrow?:(

I'm sure there will be instances when you are surrounded by more thugs or enemies so I wouldn't worry about that. And, yes, Spidey moves with a similar speed and grace as Catwoman does in AC.

Maybe not. Though the interview with GT was pretty short. The interview with IGN may be longer and include more footage but I also wouldn't get your hopes up.
