The developer video looked kinda cool. The combat looked alot better but I still would like to see more.

Less then two weeks till the game. Cant wait.

Put 40 bucks down when I pre-ordered so when it comes out it's only like...30 bucks lol.

But it's crazy, I've been showing all my buddies the game in my tech class, and they all wanna buy it cause they said the gameplay looks amazing. So we all agreed that the four of us are heading to EB games on June 26th early in the morning when the store opens and pick up our copies, then to go home and all skype while we play the game.

Ok guys. Thanks. I definitely saw tearing in there but it may have been just my player or something like that. It was all throughout the video, so if you all have not seen any...I'm not worried about it.

If that is the case, I hope that was an early build of the game because that could turn off people who just got the game if it's repetitive

I don't understand this argument. ALL games have repetition to varying degrees but it's an unavoidable guarantee in every game. ASM will have repetition. It won't take long before you've heard every pedestrian comment as you're swinging around town and they begin to repeat. Same with the web rush animations, swinging animations, combat animations, Spidey quips, enemy banter, etc.

Go play Madden and tell me how long it takes for you to see the same tackling animation or announcers dialogue repeated. Play Arkham City and tell me how many different stealth takedowns there are and how long it takes before you see them repeated. I'm not picking on you Web Face but I get tired of seeing the 'repetition' argument as one that causes people to get upset about a video game. ALL games have it. The difference is, a really well crafted, developed game will make you notice the repetition less.

Thanks. I am thinking it's the player I was watching it on...I was using a work computer at the time. I just got home this morning and rewatched it...no tearing to be found. Weird.

I bet this is the video they said they were filming way back in January. Not much new in it, but a little new footage of Manhattan. Dee is even wearing that same ugly shirt he keeps pulling out of the closet. They should make a skin of him wearing that shirt for the game just to mess with him...

That looks like it might be the 'save' move that Spidey does when about to hit the ground from a really high fall. I've seen Spidey use two webs in other footage when he is doing the web rush manuever in certain situations too.

Nice find. It may indeed be the black suit or just the regular suit blackened by the shadows. I hope the black suit is in the game though.

I was thinking blackened by the shadows, but it happens for like 1 second, why show night time for one second? Also the whole suit is black, you would expect dark shades of blue and red not one who shade of black. I think they did it on purpose

I don't get what the Search and Destroy pack is. We saw a promo image on this forum a few weeks ago that described it in the same way. My first thought was that it was a separate game mode that played on Spider-Man's Osphone like an actual mobile game might. That seemed really weird to me because it seems like some out of left field mini-game with totally new mechanics, and it seems like it would be boring and pointless. Now I'm wondering if the wording is just strange, and it's actually Spider-Man swinging around the city destroying cars and traffic signs while the in-game cell phone shows you locations and your score. That would be a lot more fun to do as Spider-Man than in some weird little game like Angry Birds.

i think the destroy the city one is the rhino mode that comes with the best buy reserve
