how lon before TASM is shown off? like how many more hours and minutes?

I don't see any real similarity to web of shadows other than the fact it's a guy swinging on webs. To me it looks almost exactly like the swinging from shattered dimensions/edge of time with a closer camera. The crawling animation looks to be derived from those games too. Web rush is just a modified 'web zip/perch point' system like we also saw in those games. I like the way he'll automatically flip on poles and stuff, but the web rush animations often look too weightless and the targeting range looks like it goes a little too far away.
Leaving the webline and spiraling vertically is something done in Web of Shadows only before this game

Even if you're gone, the demo should be up on YouTube still and you could find it. Although, if it's the same gameplay already, at least you wouldn't be missing anything.

But the anticipation, the knowledge you might see it before your eyes on a big stage shown by officials, etc etc...that grand sensation

Way to make him feel bad about having to leave hahaha jk

LOL
I'm with Anno in the "I'll watch it on youtube"
Let's hope that the demo is so stunning that it doesn't matter if you watch it live or a week from now, and it is still a grand sensation either way.

So far I feel like I don't feel like watching a demo
In that interview with Dee Brown showing Spidey defeating Rhino in the parking lot though, there is something wrong cause [blackout]after spidey defeats Rhino Rhino just disappears and a hunter attacks Spidey with a bolt, no closing cinematic nor a cutscene[/blackout]
Hope that is remedied

I believe the camera fades out? Maybe cutting the cut scene out before that drone attacks?

exactly what I thought Aziz

This game definitely has a lot of movie game like stuff in it even though it looks more awesome than any previous Spider-Man game

It fades out, hope that was cause the scene was skipped

I hope it manages to be the love letter Spider-Man they aim it to be

I'm pretty sure that's just because this is a demo that was meant for people to play on the E3 show floor and at events like the Carl's, Jr. events going on this week. They likely stripped out a lot of the cutscenes and related elements and just chose a couple of missions that start when you get to their start icons in the world. I'm not surprised that nothing flows together because of that. The actual game sounds like it doesn't even start in the open world anyway, and starts inside Oscorp.

I'm mainly disappointed that we haven't gotten to see a little more of the open world. All the demos have people hanging out in the downtown area, which makes sense because all the mission markers in the demo are there. But I want to see someone go to the top of the Oscorp building and the top of the Empire State Building and get a good view of the map. Then jump off and web swing away. Maybe the demo doesn't let you go that far north on the map, but hopefully we get to see something like that.

I must say I'm impressed, I loved the Spidey game based on the first movie, it was great, but after that, pretty mediocre, I played a bit Web Of Shadows which was terrible to me and I was scared when I saw that Beenox was doing this one, but it looks ten thousand times better than their previous endeavors!

Very pretty, smooth, webslinging looks excellent, combat looks good, 'tis gonna be good::word:
