Never heard of the Ock thing, but the Venom thing is old news.

Yeah Scorpion's backstory involves Ock (an employee of Oscorp) creating him, and, as a final touch, infuses him with "black goo" that was found on an Oscorp satellite. Neither Ock nor the goo make an appearance in the game though...it's only just backstory.

So this happened to me today:

-Walked into Wal Mart

-Went to the video game section

-Saw face-to-face, The Amazing Spider-Man video game, right in front of me. I freak out.

-"Sweet Victory" plays in my head

- I bring it to the register, "Sweet Victory" still playing

-Cash register lady scans it, then looks confused

-"Sweet Victory" stops playing

-She asks me "Do you know when this was supposed to come out"? I say "....today" (lulz)

-She continues to look confused then says "It says I'm not allowed to sell it until June 26th. Sorry."

-My hopes, dreams, and spirit are all crushed at once

-I walk out the store with the "Trololololol" song playing in my head

Feels bad, man.

Dude, I had similar situations before except they didn't notice the sticker and I was stopped by the scanner when the person tried to scan the game. That is the most disheartening, pulling out my credit card only to be denied by the computer.

...city looks completely chaotic and destroyed, it reminds me to Prototype as how the city was developing along the infection was growing

I wish they had said "screw movie continuity" and just had Gobby in Alex Ross redesign come out to play and catch the spider.

I dont think movie games even need to be canon. I mean, imagine if we got all the best villians in a crazy mishmash, wouldn't that be more fun?

It makes me sad, I've preordered it and stuff and I'll play it, but it looks like WoS will still be my go to game for this generation. Yes it's glitchy and ****, but at least they did spiderman's locomotion nearly right.

IT is true, what the Last_avenger from Marveltvnews said was true. I know the guy myself and he has no reason to lie nor bash anything marvel related (AND NO I AM NOT HIM, LIKE THAT STUPID BLEEDINGCOOL ARTICLE SUGGESTED, POSTING MY REAL NAME). Avengers EMH is as good as dead. Marvel is just trying to take down that website because its leaking real info and telling the truth, and time will prove it, just like when it proved Avengers assemble cartoon weeks before Marvel confirmed it.

Now back on topic. I played the game for 4 to 5 hours, and i think marveltvnews were a bit a generous, the game deserves a 7 no more, and you will see the reviews. My main problem is the swing. Sorry but its not good. and there is also a lot of screen tearing which hurts your eyes sometimes.

While the review praises the story, i find it a bit odd and some characters do some things that make no sense at all. the combat is beautiful and spudey's model is amazing. i was waiting for this game for a while and i'm a bit disappointed. one other annoyance, is the car chase missions, if you go into a car chase, the game goes to a loading screen, and then you do the chase and after you complete there is another loading screen, before you go back the area you were at before the chase.

believe me the reviews will not be very good for the game, as sad as that makes me.

So I read that review. It wasn't bad, 7.5 is good. In fact it's what I think the average this game will get. And that's not bad. We have to remember, this is a movie game, not a game that can be in development for more than 2.5 years. He didn't like the swinging, and hearing how the mechanics work, I honestly probably won't either. It seems like a big downgrade compared to SM2/3. But he really liked the story, graphics, and most of the gameplay; and that's great. He said it's a must buy for Spidey fans.

Don't forget, it's just his opinion too, but I think I feel the same way about this game as he did.

I'm even kinda sad how basic the swinging mechanic is, I really hope they deliver more for TASM, maybe I'll cut them a little break since it's their first open-world game, and those can be pretty difficult.
