not true. tons of ppl who aren't spidey fans are loving it as well.

Heck my own gf, who is a HARDCORE gamer, is VERY critical and harsh with her opinions, who said she hates superheroes and doesn't give an eff about spider-man, she is playing the game and texted me and i quote:

f**k I.G.N, this game is awesome"

well f**k IGN either way. Ive learned to never listen to any big time game reviews after a few games i LOVED got extreme hate. Haha. (Castlevania: LOS for example)

You cant use the belt with this one, the only differences are the leg stripes, they are gone and there's only silver lines.

Lol I have no idea, but watching that Web of Shadows video shows me just how much better TASM is.

BTW those videos for the costumes I went to both locations and can't find them, I don't know how that guy was able to find those spider logos.

So apparently there is a workaround to unlock all costumes. You have to be offline and put the date on your console to the month of September. Darkness3389 posted about it on the gamefaqs forums. You still have to find the locations though and take the pictures.

Edit: I just confirmed that this works, just unlocked Negative Zone and Future Foundation.

Just found the Big Time suit. It is behind the Red Stairs in Times Square, the ones with the Daily Bugle sign right in front of them. It is on the glass behind those stairs.

Beenox should have just included these, such a rush finding them yourself. I knew one was at Central Park, so I guessed there should be one at Times Square and boom there it was.

I remember the trailer showing comics Bugle, and the mission had Spider-Man going to the Flatiron building, I was like "WTF? Where's the Bugle from the trailer?", I did find it later, and remember mentioning it a time or two

I played for about 5 hours last night. I'll agree with the poster that mentioned not liking it early on but then having fun with it. The locomotion was my biggest issue but once you figure it out it is a blast. However, as fun as it may be, this spiderman (not the game just spiderman himself) is a huge step backwards from WoS spidey. Not being able to fight on walls or attack from your webline? Silly. And spidermans locomotion controls in WoS were great while crawling, running, jumping, etc in open manhatten. This spidey, even after mastering the exhilarating webswing/webrush system, still feels sluggish.

ASM is absolutely in every way a better game though so I'm going with it. I do wish the petty crimes were actually random and not scripted, and I wish we had a second island, but I'm having a blast so we'll see how bothered I still am as the credits roll.

Loving the kaine suit. Rocked it for my last hour of play.

Yeah, the wall running is not quite as smooth as in WOS. It's very difficult to just jump towards a wall and run across it horizontally without coming to a stop as you connect. The climbing can feel sluggish and you're prevented from jumping up a wall while climbing, but on the plus side the camera works really well and it's easy to crawl around indoors without any bad camera angle problems.
Unfortunately you can't run on walls at all indoors. I would have liked to see them develop a mechanic that would easily allow Spidey to run up a wall and launch attacks, much like Mirrors edge, Matrix and even the Captain America game.
