Just encountered the 'disappearing saves' glitch. Talk about frustrating, I just can't bring myself to pick up this game and play it any more. At least not until Beenox fix it.

Just finished the first flying robot fight after beating Vermin. Suit shredded, shooting my webs at the machines while soaring downward, swinging away from the blasts. To use a cliche...it was epic.

i love it, i would like if the alt suits shredded too though. although seeing as thats a health indicator then cross species spidey would be screwed

I'm really liking the combat more and more and the over all rumble features they added. It makes such a difference and gives him "wieght". I think that the web targeting system needs work and more variations and animations. Sometimes I will fire a web shot it doesn't always land where I fire it. I would also like them to add multiple counters and more control over spiderman with the combat system. I think the free flow is good but he could have some inputs or combos to mix it up. I would also love to see more acrobatic movement when dodging like somersaults and handsprings and jumping on top of opponents.

I would also like to see wall running and wall jumping dmc style. I think it's a good start but he needs to have more omg moments. The rumble on the swinging is great too but I think it would be even better with more realistic swinging.

I don't think it kicks it's butt. Sm2 is a last gen game. Asm is a current gen game. It's not really a competition of who could be better. I think the trick for the next game is combining some of those elements to improve spiderman games in general.

Asm is a good start. But it needs some more fine tuning and it will be gold. They need to fine tune the kinks.

Okay, I just found a really odd easter egg in the Oscorp level where you first try to give the cure to Gwen. In the circular room where you fight 2 of the bug guys with Gatling guns, if you go to the back there are doors with red triangles above them. Next to one of these doors are 2 blue posters. These posters are modeled after the Alchemax poster from Edge of Time, the one that Peter uses to find out about Mary Jane's death.
Not only that, but Mary Jane's picture is replaced on both, with what looks to be Josh Keaton on the right, and Kevin Michael Richardson(Tombstone) on the left.

Encountered the glitch again. It's the second time for me. Close to 100% again.

It happened to me the same way both times. After pressing start the "start" dialog would disappear and the screen would only display the animation of New York and Spidey on a building.

But I'm not mad. I backed up my save data right before this happened and I am playing like nothing happened . So please, guys, if you want to circumvent this glitch, back your saves up to a thumb or external drive.

One you collect 500 comic book pages they will start appearing on your mini-map when you get near.

Does anyone know when the DLC will hit the XBL Marketplace?

I feel like im going to rage so hard and destroy my appartment.

I got half way through the game, then when I turn it on my "Continue" selection is not there. All my saved files are there on my PS3, but it wont let me continue. i call support for help, they give me a few options that don't work. So now im restarting.

On the bright side, I figured how when I am angry it makes me go quicker and faster through stages -_-

I suggest checking gaming sites with a PC section for TASM game (like GameFAQs or something similar) and search for topics on the save glitch. For all we know the PC version may not be susceptible since it comes out later and it's an entirely different platform to both Xbox and PS3. Though it's probably best to wait and see before you buy.

I can hope for that, but if the save file is still there and doesn't work it's a major pain, even worse if it's on PC and now I will hardly be able to use my save file on a different profile

I have ASM on PS3 and I've had no issues. I've gotten 100% completion the first time through on Superhero. I then restarted a new game with the new suits I unlocked and completed the story mode and all the side missions again and still, no issues.

I'm playing through on Hero and it only took me up until now to get where i left off on the main story.

I collected about 425 comics before losing all that progress. I think that pisses me off the most. Im going to complete the main story and then finish off the side missions.
