Finally got the platinum trophy today, but I noticed something funny.

On the "Forum" in the game a user exclaims "Let's blow this place to Kingdom Come" with the "K" in "kingdom" and the "C" in "come" being capitalized as well.

That's a song used in the movie. After Peter asks Gwen out. The one by Coldplay "Til' Kingdom Come"

It was mentioned about the time the game released. That's one thing I did enjoy about the game was the neat little eggs here and there.

Unfortunately, no. No word from Beenox since the games' release...not even a whisper. And now that the Deadpool game was announced I highly doubt Activision will do anything for Spidey. Typical.

Also, does anyone else experience the glitch where if you engage rooftop snipers in melee combat both Spidey and the snipers flicker between visible and invisible? Last few times I was playing the game I experienced that whenever I came across them.

To date there is no patch and no news of a patch. I even sent a tweet to Beenox and never got a response on that one. Oh well. Hopefully they're busy working on something.

No, I haven't. It didn't occur to me that it could be my disk since the game has been mostly ok apart from the save glitch and falling through a building or two (which others have reported). I have on the other hand checked how much I would get in an in store trade in. lol

Yeah, I just thought I would mention that because I've heard that some people have traded in their games for another copy and since, have been glitch free. I have experienced some minor issues, like I once fell thru the map and saw a couple of enemies go into the wall and then come back out but after something like 40 hours of gameplay (played the story mode 3 times and just lots of random swinging) imo, that's a very small percentage.

I mean, how can you make a free roam game that has all of the random crimes and such disappear after a certain number?? That just seems silly to me. I guess it's a good thing that Spidey has gotten rid of all the crime in NYC but that also makes for one helluva boring, stale free roam experience. Actually, ASM is more of a linear game with a wide open space rather than a free roam game. If Beenox doesn't either address this issue with more content or a patch or update...I'm gonna trade in this game and put it towards ACIII.

Yeah, the game is pretty empty when you've finished story mode. Though I wasn't considering to swap it in just because of the glitches, I've also played through the campaign (then I got the save glitch lol) and I've got a wide range of criticisms for this game. It's a good game, but I think they could/should have done much better.

All things considered, Beenox did a tremendous job with ASM. They not only had to deal with Marvel on almost every issue regarding the game and of course with the soul-less life blood leeches known as Activision but throw Sony into that mix too. That's a lot of red tape.

It's a very good game indeed and a lot of the issues I have with the game can be cleared up with a patch and some nice DLC. Fingers crossed.

Time consuming? Yes. Tough? Nah.

It's not really my style but you can find resources, i.e videos on youtube, about how to locate all the magazines/tech pieces within the levels.

The comics will appear on your mini map once you reach 500. It took me a total of about 2 hours to find all 700.

Yeah, you're right. I guess I did lengthen that post longer than it need to be.

I completed the game earlier today, so now I go to play it, and my save file is gone!!
WTH!?

I know the feeling. This happened to me twice. Both times when I was close to getting the 100% suit.

I played the game through and through 4 times.

Twice on easy. The first to get a feel for the game.

The second time was on easy to go through the game faster, because my save file got corrupted. On this playthrough, the save file corrupted again and my back up was at 50%. So I went through all that again.

Got the 100% suit on this play through.

Third and fourth times on medium and hard to get all trophies.

It was a struggle.

What might work for you, is moving the save files you have now, and transfer them to a USB drive and transfer them back into your system, because the save files are still there.

At least, they were when this happened to me.
