So more about the story revealed now.

Oscorp is developing groundbreaking robotic technology for peacekeeping, things go horribly wrong as they often tend to and the robotic army is unleashed on New York. Tons of terror and devastation as Spider-Man is the only one brave enough to combat this threat.

Sounds cool, Spidey vs robo army (potentially Spider Slayers).

I'm still disappointed that it's taking place after the movie. I still plan on getting it, but I wish we could play through the movie's story. Hopefully, it'll still be good. As for the teaser, I'm not sure what to think about the whole "robots who were supposed to keep peace go berserk" thing.

Oh, and the whole OsCorp plot is also weak and unimpressive. The whole 'Spider-Slayer invasion' stuff is totally not what I expected (in a bad way).

I think we're all mainly going to be playing it for the free roam and hopefully improved Spidey physics.

At least that's the reason I'll be purchasing it for.

Yep. I'm back to not caring anymore. The teaser got me intrigued, and everything about this footage pushed me back to the camp that wishes we'd get a new developer already.

That's how I felt, when they unveiled a mix of some new bits and SDCC footage on the Movie Expo. Total disappointment. I want to unfollow Beenox/LTDee SO. FREAKING. MUCH. RIGHT. NOW!

That really didn't show much.

It showed that Beenox is still strong on the graphics of these Spider-Man games, that's for sure.

Shattered Dimensions, Edge of Time...even as subpar games, the graphics are great, and it shows with this game as well.
