I wouldn't say one is better than the other, because it depends on the person, so I'll just say she should get whatever she feels she should get

I never played an "Elder Scrolls" game, so I won't judge that

Gwen, PS3 gamepad is better than XBOX360 pad if you prefer analog sticks right beside one another

Double, scratch it

So all of you guys who want free flow combat, you want to repeatedly press one attack button all the time or a mix of A,B combos added?

The simple truth is that most games on hand helds are nothing like the console versions.

As far as the Wii goes, those games usually and mostly are not like the XBOX/PS3 version.

As far as 3DS and DS goes, there's a chance they might be the same thing. You might want to check on that before preordering both.

Maybe preorder the 3DS one and wait for the DS one.

This will change with the Vita.

If my money tree ever grows, I'll consider it.

One thing out of many that I have learned in life, is that if you want something...you go get it. Make it happen. If you want a PS3 or 360, scrap together some cash and go get it. Sell/trade in the Wii, don't get a kindle for your Bday or if you do, sell or trade it, go get a job.

Seriously...how old are you? Why don't you have a job? I understand the economy is still kind of in the crapper but come on...go flip burgers or something. You're not gonna get a job because you're worried about not being able to go on vacations?? What world do you live in?

Whatever. Do what you want. :csad:

I'm 19 and my not having a job has nothing to do with the economy. I don't have to have a job because my parents have said since I'm good [unlike my brother who they're trying to make get a job or move out] I don't have to get a job. Also, it depends on the hours. it'd be nice to have extra money, but there's no point in having a job if I have hardly any time to spend the money. I also don't know if I'm ready for a job. I started homeschooling cause 8+ hours of doing something I didn't enjoy was just too much for me. It might be cool to work at GameStop or maybe try babysitting, but still. Also, you don't know my mom. I will try to talk her out of the kindle, at least for my birthday, but she will get me something I don't want or really need. So for now, a job is just something I like to think about. And I'm not gonna sell my Wii because I spent a lot of good money [well, actually it was mostly trade in credit, but still] to get the games I have and still like to play, so I'm not gonna sell it.

Agreed. I prefer not to trade in my consoles as well unless its broken then there's no reason not to outside of sentimental value.

I will point this out though. I don't work either but by categorizing my games and trading in ones I know I won't play again and the ones I will play again/have loads of replay value.

Also, I almost ALWAYS trade in a game if I'm bored with it our a superior sequel is about to be released.

This how I usually get money for games considering I don't work either.

I traded nearly ten games back in October in order to get Batman: Arkham City.

Agreed. I only trade in games I either don't play or can live without. Although, there are some games I hang onto in case I just need something to do.

Agreed. For instance, Arkham City and Skyrim are 2 games I'll probably never trade in.

And I don't think I'll ever trade in any of my Spidey games, even the few I don't like nearly as much as others. Like my psp Spider-Man 2 game. Even though I found it kinda boring since it was way too easy and recycled stuff from the console versions of the first and second games, I still like it cause it's Spider-Man.

You are 19 yrs old. You are a LEGAL adult. You are capable of doing things without the consent of your parents.

I honestly do not understand this logic. Holding a job is more than just "making money," it is also about learning responsibility. It's about learning how to earn something thru hard work and diligence. There's no better feeling than to get that paycheck at the end of two weeks, because you earned it...because you worked for it. Having a job teaches you so much about making progress, learning trades, communication skills, etc. etc. etc.

If I would have told my Dad that I didn't have to get a job at 19 because I was 'good,' he would have kicked my ass.

F*** all kinds of FPS :o

I really don't care much for FPS games. I have played MW3 and Battlefield 3, and I don't know exactly what it is, mostly cause I haven't sat down to think about it, but they bore me.
