It would be great if activision could let us pre-purchase DLC content for this game. that way whenever we receieve a copy of the game, all we have to do is enter a little code and viola: instant specials.

It would be great but it all depends on how much DLC they plan on releasing for the game, i.e additional playable characters, suits, missions, arena modes, etc. If there is a bunch of stuff they will most likely have it spread out over several months and therefore probably nothing on day one. There's also the possibility of preorder bonuses but again, nothing has been mentioned. Hopefully something comes up by PAX.

Good point. Hopefully the people behind the game will fill us in at some point. Speaking of which, the people at beenox originally promised to answer three fan questions on their facebook page a couple of weeks ago but they only answered two. Slackers....

I wouldn't mind, actually. It'd make the story of the game even more interesting.
Perhaps not this game, but the next.

Boss fight or playable Spider-Man with mutation? Or will you play as someone else while Spidey is like this?

I was just at the official site for the game and just happened to see a couple of little icons on the bottom of the screen that the game will be availible on playstation network and xbox live. Could be an indication that there will be DLC?

Of course. DLC costumes and extra missions! No doubt.

Darn, having DLC means it will be ported through Steam if it had a PC port, and I don't want to connect it to steam to play on PC

so o was just playing web of shadows and saw the funniet/craziest thing:

a symbiote hurled a shield agent off the roof of a building and i jumped after him as if i could save him (which reminds me that'd be awesome to do in a spidey game: to be able to jump after somebody falling from a building and catch them)

and he falls flat on his face and i'm thinking "oh well he died" but no, he gets up off the ground like nothing happened and starts shooting at the nearest symbiote XD

Well, as long as we're talking about other playable characters, how about this guy? He was mentioned by one of the guys working for Beenox and was pushing to get him into the game...although he may have been joking too.

You think that's funny, I once played web of shadows and watched a cop car get destroyed by a nearby airstrike. the cop miraculously survives even though he was inches away from the blast. not only does he survive though, he some how manages to climb back into a car thats no longer there, activates the siren and drives off.

Well, as long as we're talking about other playable characters, how about this guy? He was mentioned by one of the guys working for Beenox and was pushing to get him into the game...although he may have been joking too.

Nah, he was best used as a reference joke in the first cinematic in SMSD and a cameo after the story ends and all the main Spider-Men return to their worlds

weird. my copy, which is used, 't have that problem. I've never had issues with major glitches or lag. maybe u just need different copy of the game

I've tried with two different copies of the game. I'm not the only one who's had these issues though.

Recently I can't reach Kingpin in his building, game blacksout and freezes
I played it to record the two endings not found online

I have had WoS freeze on me several times. I dunno about you guys but when I buy TASM, I am trading WoS back in.

geez i never knew so many ppl had glitch issues. i've never had these problems. and WoS is prob one of if not my fav free roaming spidey game. mainly for the gameplay and music, not so much the voice acting or story

That's cool and all, but see it from the perspective of somebody who's paying for the game. Hell, somebody who pre-ordered it and bought it full price.

I find the web swinging in WoS to be extremely satisfying. The rest of the game...blah.

Yeah, the web swinging in WoS is actually quite acrobatic, I think I prefer the web swinging in WoS to any other past Spidey game.

WoS was a huge disappointment for me. Besides having lackluster gameplay, story and VA...it tops it off with the glitches, freezes and tearing.

Thanks. And yeah, I bought it from the bargain bin... and I haven't really even gotten halfway through the story yet. Some of the challenges are just too tedious. That, paired with the every other problem in the game... hmm, no thanks.
