Wonder if they'll keep the upward web-zip
Playing Web of Shadows for some laughs and mocking the story once again, I wish they use the wall slide mechanics from that game once more

It's interesting to think they might take cues from other games since they've stated that they have used past Spidey games as reference points for making TASM. We might see the charge jump from SM2, or the wall slide from WoS, or the web launch from SM3. Who knows. Then again, they've created a brand new set of mechanics for this game and are working with a different engine, so we'll probably see none of those. They have included several moves from SD and EoT though.

The wall slides is quite possible, they imported the upward webzip and used it on SD

I'd love them to have ground to wall to air combat again, the wall run, that wall slide, the way u can web zip up a wall and seamlessly turn it into a wall run. flipping off poles vertically and horizontally. GAH! idc how bad the game is in most ppls eyes, the mechanics in that game for Spidey and his movements were the best in a game so far!

SUE ME!

Benox has used ALOT of things here and there from past spidey games.

I remember the very first time i played shattered Dimensions, i notice they used the same sound effects for collecting spiders in Web of Shadows as well as a few other things here and there borrowed from past games

I like the mechanics and visuals, beyond that it's one of my least favorite Spidey games

Bad as that game is, at least it's nowhere near as bad as the Spider-Man/X-Men game

And no spider-man game is as bad as the Atari game -.-

There are worse

Except Web of Shadows :woot:
That's..too harsh, and I enjoy that game to some degree (I'm gifted, I'm cursed to enjoy everything Spider-Man, even the bad stuff)

My list of top 5 worst Spider-Man games are (these are ones even I couldn't stomach considering how bad they are):

5. Spider-Man on the Gameboy color: Everything is there to attack and kill you, kill them, step away, steap back and they are there again. And the sewers are so confusing you'll lose track without a guide

4 & 3 (TIE). Amazing Spider-Man 2 & 3 (Gameboy B/W): The first is decent, these are far beyond $#%^ embarrassing sequels

2. Spider-Man/X-Men (NES,SNES,Genesis,GB): Controls are crap, character play is crap, a lot is crap

1. Spider-Man 3 (NDS): How are you supposed to control a guy by directing a cello on the screen he's not on?

Dishonorable mention: Spider-Man TAS (Genesis and SNES)
EDIT: And that painful Sinister 6 game on the NES

I liked Spider-Man TAS. One of the bad things about it was most of its soundtrack. Other than that, I had fun with it.

Of course WoS is not as bad as the atari game. It was a joke.

I was thinking about the future of the TASM games and the movies and I thought of a cool idea. At least I think it's cool.

I want the games to be sequels to the movies, I think it's a great idea.

TASM Movie Villain: Lizard
The game has more human-animal/animal villains. Rhino and Igauna are in the game. Add Scorpion, Swarm, Morbius, Vulture and Kraven. Any other human-animal/animal type villains?

TASM2 Movie Villain: Green Goblin
The game has more villains that are humans but have the tech to make them evil. Shocker, Doc Ock, Hobgoblin, Mysterio, any others?

TASM3 Movie Villain: Venom
The game has more villains that are humans but have a substance to make them evil.
Sandman, Electro, Carnage, any others?

No Venom, no Carnage, no symbiotes.

I want it if they do it right.

Oh, and I thought of another villain for the TASM3 game, Hydro-Man. Absorbing-Man could work too, but is he strictly an Avengers/Hulk villain?

Oo, Swarm would be cool as one of the animal/human hybrids. Don't think he's ever been in a game, has he?

Imagine a boss fight with him, having to outsmart him so you don't get stung by a horde of bees.

quite frankly i'm tired of symbiotes. i don't even want to see venom or the black suit on screen for a long time

Eh, I'm bored...here's a screenshot.
