I did a report on the Brown Recluse, they're nasty.

But they are definitively not as bad as the camel spider.

*shudders*

yeah but despite their enormous size, the emperor scorpions aren't neccesarily the most aggresive or even the most poisionous. In fact they are downright dosile compaired to the Androctonus Australus. More commonly known as the "Fat Tailed Scorpion". It is the deadliest scorpion on the planet and is responsible for the deaths of many humans each year. And the color of this particular nasty bug? Many different shades of green...

Have you seen an Emperor Scorpion in person? They may not be a dangerous threat to your health, but it will make you get the chills. Very creepy looking. That was my point.

I saw one in colorado. it was about 8-9 inches long. I admit they are creepy looking but I have a bigger problem with bugs that can do serious damage like yellow jackets. this thing was about as harmless as a fruit bat.

Ok, so, I'm guessing most of us in this thread are Spider-man fans...anyone have an aquired affinity for spiders because of this??

It's weird but I try not to kill a spider I find in my house. I'll usually catch it in a tupperware bowl and let it go outside. I even owned a tarantula for a couple of years.

I can't say I have an affinity for any kind of bug, no....

Nope.

When a spider gets within 10ft of me, it's pretty much signed it's own death certificate.

I hate spiders, I can't stand them. I kinda hate every bug though.

A single camel spider can take down a camel, hence the name. I heard somewhere (it's probably not true, but I dunno) that the camel spider is the only member of wildlife in Afghanistan that soldiers can kill.

Sandman could be a valid threat, and he's not as dumb as Rhino

I'm not too well into the character of Sandman, but he was sure dumb enough in Spider-Man 3(the GOD-AWFUL line, "I'm not a bad person.") and in TSSM. But to say he could be a valid threat on his own, I truly disagree. He's not Electro where he could have more in store than just being a regular ol' villain but Flint Marko was always just a brute thug; I don't see anything truly intimidating that a regular thug would try to do to conquer the world, let alone New York City.

The villains I listed(GG, Ock, Lizard, Electro, Mysterio, Kraven, Chameleon, Scorpion), they could all do something unique to New York and to Spidey himself while the other members of the rogue gallery just feel too one-dimensional on paper. That's why I think Sandman would fit best with someone like Vulture, who's old that he couldn't do much like the other guys, but he can be highly intelligent, and it works both ways for them to work with eachother. That team-up would've been astounding in Spider-Man 3.

Camel spiders are dangerous?

Nah, not at all...he's just a cute little thing, ain't he? He wouldn't harm anyone

Spiders are awesome creatures.

on another note, i would love a spider-man noir movie, even if it was made for tv and animated :P

One day you will kill a spider and then a swarm of spider's will come to consume you out of sorrow for their fallen fellow arachnid.

Or, when VenomSpawn kills a spider, he'll look up only to see a giant spider kill him.

if your panic room isn't any bigger than 10 ft. it's adios muchacho.

Sandman would work as the leader of some criminal gang. Simple as that. They could've even had him be a slimeball and use his daughter's illness to justify brutality that we'd get to see him revel in. Someone who can't own up to his crimes and uses his daughter as a scapegoat.

Because of Spider-Man, I don't kill spiders. I just use a napkin or something, pick it up, put in a cup [rhyme not intentional], and let them go outside. But if I ever saw a really big spider, I'd kill it or have someone else kill it cause I'd probably be too scared to do it myself.

I hate spiders so freaking much! Wolf spiders scare me the most! I get paralyzed when I look into theirs eyes! THEY STARE INTO MY SOUL!!!

I use to not kill spiders and just take em outside, but i've gotten tired of seeing so many, i just kill em after saying i'm sorry

Whenever I see spiders in my basement, I decide that it is time to stop playing video games and go upstairs lol. Unless its really really tiny. Then I keep on playing.
