Thats what they said for AC and that was not the case for me.

Well usually the QA guys/gals overestimate the length of the gameplay. I remember they said the gameplay for AC was like 40 hours but ended up being only 20-25. I'd highly doubt the main story for the game would take 30 hours but I would agree that the main story plus side missions and challenges would be on par for about 30 hours.

I still haven't gotten all the collectables, I want to though, just I'm busy with a few other games I have.

Lol, so no more jumping off of tall buildings comitting virtual suicide? Fun but it doesn't bother me as it adds to the immersion, like in Arkham City Batman's cape always spreads for a safe landing.

I mean, would Spidey or Bats just fall to their deaths like that? Heck no, it's little things like that which add to the experience. But it was always humerous, like Batman's falling animation from Dark Tomorrow. LOL.

Yeah it kinda sucks we can't kill ourselves just for the hell of it but at least you won't die if you happen to make a mistake and hit the wrong button or something. I dunno. It's a give and take kinda thing but it's definitely not something I'm gonna nitpick.

They also said not all webs will connect to buildings.

Yes but they also said it will depend on the context. If you're just swinging around the city, they will connect but if you're in a combat situation, the webs may not in order to aid with the combat gameplay for continuity and smoothness.

I wonder what preorder bonuses they are gonna have? Costumes? Concept art? Spidey figurine? Collector's book?

I'll probably test it out myself, lol.

You know, as soon as the pre-order bonuses are announced or a CE, I'm pre-ordering. I think this game is now a definite buy; nothing really worries me.

I hope one's an art book. I would THROW my money at them--physically and virtually--for one.

No worries? I'm definitely pumped about the game but until I see the unedited gameplay with my own eyes, I still have some reservations. That won't stop me from preordering though :woot:

Haha! An art book would be fantastic. That would seriously make my day.

The fact that's it's pretty much AA/AC combat gameplay, I'm fine. I love the combat in the Arkham games, it's fun, addicting, and fluid. I know people think it's too shallow and easy, but I really like it.

That is something I think we should be excited about for sure. I've always wanted a more grounded and realistic combat system that also takes advantage of Spidey's agility and speed. Once I saw the combat system in the Arkham games I knew that's what I wanted Spidey to have and now that it's actually happening...very cool. The previews of the demo footage sound extremely promising but I really need to see it with my own eyes and judge the gameplay for myself before I'll be 100% on board. We're getting a playable demo at E3, June 7-9, so not too much longer.

I don't get out of school until June 14th. What grades are you guys in?

Yep. 10th grade. Next year is gonna be tough, Juniors take a lot of tests. I'm not a AP classes so I don't take AP classes. I could be in an AP class, but I kinda don't want to.
