I'm not a fan o Black Cat's visual here either. Same for EoT.
SM2's Black Cat is still my favorite, in all aspects.

This^ I would even go as far as to say she looks horrible in this game. As I've said, she looks like ****ing Bayonetta. That's NOT a look I like for Black Cat! I much prefered her look in EoT even. The best one is in WoS I think, no matter how horrible that game is.

I prefer her looks in spiderman 2 and EOT. To me.....Those are the most attractive versions of blackcat. She had kind of man face in wos lol. Like Felicia hardy is suppose to be the most attractive woman Peter Parker has ever been with. More so than MJ and Gwen put together in my opinion.

I think if she wasn't already identified people would be forgiven for thinking it was someone else, like Silver Sable. Also I'm not digging the face on her either.

I can't help but disagree with this. Not the part about a direct translation of Black Cat, I agree to a point, but not the bit about it being realistic. I think Spidey is enough evidence against how 'realistic' it is. Add in villains like Rhino and Iguana and that boat has sunk (at least for the game world).

Personally I think they could have done a much better update to her costume, but in a similar vein to how they redesigned Spider-man's costume. By that I mean keep in keeping with the movie's sense of style. It's still fanciful and resembles his classic costume for the most part, so I don't see why we get leather jacket and trousers for Black Cat.

This is still a minor issue for me too.

Yeah, it's not a bid issue for me either, but it does look odd and bland here.

Something tells me if Beenox is going to include alternate costumes for spidey, why would they stop there? they can make alternate costumes for the other characters too.

Because it's what they've done for every game so far? Because it's what most developers do when giving extra costumes for the hero?

Though saying that the first Spider-man movie game gave the Green Goblin only a new costume based of Alex Ross rejected design if you activated the Alex Ross Spider-man costume cheat, but that was a one off for Spidey. Every other game goes the normal route and just gives the hero an extra costume (if they chose to do even that).

I wouldn't hold my breath, sadly.

Because EoT has arenas. Maybe TASM will too? And the most we could do it see each others scores haha

I think you have to be logged in to Xbox Live to see the following page, but TASM is up on the Marketplace web site (but not the system dashboard) and it says the online features are content downloads and leaderboards. So it appears TASM may have arenas of some kind with leaderboards. There's always the chance that the leaderboards are for the indoor levels instead, which have had some type of scoring system mentioned.

LOVE the detail on the suit. I think I like the suit on the video game more than the film itself...it looks so stunning in that pic.

The screenshots look fantastic. the detail is outstanding. I love the webbing in the Yeb Yo-Yo pic. That and Spidey's costume, and his pose and his model and general. Not too mention the lighting.

On another note, it really really bothers me when people say that this game is sound exactly like Spider-Man 2 in HD or call it "Spider-Man 2 HD". I mean, I know that that's not an insult(in fact that's a compliment) but that kind of undermines Beenox's work to make the game feel fresh and innovative. It's hardly "Spider-Man 2 HD". Spider-Man 2 didn't have a closer camera angle that induces vertigo, a fake twitter feed, Iguana, a completely new story, Arkham styled combat and stealth, the option to use stealth or combat, the option to change the time of day, a Stan "The Man" Lee skin, the map as a GPS on Peter's cell phone, a costume that takes damaging, Pete bleeding from said damage, Spidey's animations changing due to damage, having to go back to your apartment to repair your suit, a web cartridge reloading animation, the Web Rush, the Web Rush back, collectible comic books that unlock stuff, photography missions, the ability to take photos of enemies for biographies and concept art, having all of Manhattan available from the start, evolving crimes and the ability to take photos for fun and save them to s virtual photo album.

I'm not trying to be mean to the people who say it's like an HD Spider-Man 2 but it's really not. I'm sure they've took inspiration from it and they have similarities but it's not like Spider-Man 2 HD. I feel saying that kind of undermines all the new things Beenox has added to a Spider-Man game for the first time.

Huh, really? I haven't played it for a long time so I went by memory. I wouldn't count the time of day thing since there's a difference between a night and day cycle and being able to manually change the time of day.
