I honestly want the rest of the villains to be animal-human hybrids, I love the theme. It's the same basic theme of the movie and the game. When we get Goblin in the next movie, we can have more technology-based villains.

Vulture
Scorpion
Swarm
Prototype Goblin or Hobgoblin

I also thought of something cool. Imagine they tried to recreate Spider-Man during the animal experiments, and it caused that Man-Spider creature to be born. You have to fight it. That'd be so cool, IMO.

I like the idea of some "themes" of the villains in each game, although I wouldn't mind different types of villains, such as bringing in someone like Shocker in the game rather than all animal-human hybrids. Plus, those Spider Slayers takes away that theme if you think about it.

I definitely want to see Proto Goblin and Swarm would be an incredible idea.

And for Man-Spider....how about, much like in Edge of Time where you have to fight those failed experiments/zombies in 2099, you have to fight all bunch of Man-Spider experiments?

Guys

What if

What if they had

Guys listen

What if they had Doc Ock in the game

And he was half man, half octopus?

Guys?

Since I don't really want to see Doc Ock in the new reboot, I wouldn't mind seeing Doc Ock as a villain in the game. He could be working with Osborn as he is in that new, and awful, cartoon. Doc Ock's design is the ONLY thing I like from that series.

I'd like to get Vermin as a minor boss or something... he'd also fit with this whole human-animal hybrid gimmick they've got for the game.

And I'd love for Scorpion to be included.

If they're going for obscure villains, how about...

The first concept art looks like the Sandman stage of Shattered Dimensions, that's pretty awesome.

I see what you mean, but it's just debris. I can't help but think 'transformers villain' when I see the first concept. Not so much on the second one. It looks more like an insanely large Spider-slayer.

Though now I that I think about fighting that thing in game, I can't help but hope that the boss fights are better than EoT which I found fairly underwhelming.

Not a big fan of Vermin, he's too obscure and hasn't really done much of worth in my opinion. Though saying that, he might be good fodder for this game.

Scorpion would be a good addition, but I'm hesitant to see him as a hybrid. I don't think every villain should be a hybrid.

I don't get why they're keeping footage from the demo from us.
That preplanned gameplay is polished right? Show us some uncut gameplay already!
I almost bought the SM3 game the other day when I saw it in a budgetbox in some store (I lend my copy to some dude I haven't spoken in a long time).
Give me my fix damn it! :P

Scorpion could be a great epic last battle. But then again, it might turn out like the scorpion 2099 battle.

I really like that Man-Spider idea. Trying to re-invent spidey. Brilliant!

What about Jackal?? I could see a mission where he kidnaps gwen. Looking at spideys rogue gallery they have a ton of choices.

I thought about this as I wrote my list, then I decide no. It was be to ridiculous.

Wouldn't be a bad idea given the hybrid angle with some of the villains. He could be one of the lead scientists involved.

Yeah that's what I meant, he could just be a short side mission or nothing more than a glorified thug that you have to randomly beat up.

This dude would also make for a cool boss fight. He could be hiding in the sewers, or something similar...
Seriously they just need to use their freaking imagination, there's a lot of potential in Spidey's rogue gallery.

... several of the villains in the "Amazing Spider-Man" will feature some sort of Oscorp-based origin story involving cross-species genetic engineering...

Perfect.

Black cat sounds amazing!
Beenox is really putting effort into makingnot only a great spiderman game, but a great game over all.

What I love about the sound of this game is that Beenox is taking the Batman approach to some villains and stories by having them be side missions that have no connection to the core story. I like that. Adds some variety.

I agree. They don't all need to be connected. It might end up getting stale if all your villains turned out to be Oscorp by-products.

Love the new article about Black Cat, they're adding so much to this world. Intriguing what he says about the reason her hair being white is at the end of the movie. Not sure what that can mean.

Some time this week, I think. At least that's what Dee implied.

Then why does Spidey have the leg stripes?
Oh, yeah. I didn't see that because I was typing on my smudgy phone screen earlier. Pretty confusing, maybe it was just an artistic preference.
