AMC's Halt & Catch Fire

The car jacking being Joe's doing would make zero sense, even with Joe, it'd be out of character, they did what they were supposed to do & despite Gordon's temporary lapse of judgment where he thought about screwing over Joe so they could ship the computer, they seem to be on good terms & certainly nothing warrants Joe doing this to Gordon.

Very good questions for the rest, fingers crossed for season 2.

Decent episode. It's weird to me how some shows make the penultimate episode more interesting than the finale.

Either way my fingers are crossed for Season 2 also

Hoping so. There are claims it ain't coming back so make some noise online.

Wasn't expecting that, considering the ratings lows this reached. This went alot lower than Rubicon a few years ago.

The IMDB board for this show is beyond like 20 pages.

I think I read that DVR and OnDemand numbers were pretty high.

The best thing I think would be to not put this up against Game of Thrones

Looks like they are doing what I said they might and hoping the show builds its audience over time like Breaking Bad.

We have a history of demonstrating patience through the early seasons of new shows, betting on talent and building audience over time.

Actually no, it got a big boost from L+7 numbers with DVR, that definitely helped. Bigger than Rubicon.

I looked at what Deadline said. Their numbers with DVR are barely more than what Rubicon got live.

I think Pace gives the show more credence. He's a property now.

Well looks like Im gonna have to watch season one when it hits netflix. I figured itd be canceled so I didnt even bother tuning in.

Yay! And can't wait to see more of Scoot, Lee, Kerry and Mackenzie next season!

Scoot is on the up and up as well. Scoot's role in Batman vs Superman and Gone Girl will continue to raise his profile.

And Black Sea with Jude Law. Not too mention he had two movies out this summer The Rover and Frank. His "recognition" is getting out there etc.

AMC’s ‘Halt & Catch Fire’ Adds James Cromwell

EXCLUSIVE: There’s about to be a new major player on the 1980s set series about the early days of the computer industry. Having played Presidents, fictional and real, a Nazi war criminal, royalty and a pig farmer, James Cromwell is now joining Season 2 of Halt And Catch Fire I’ve learned.

In a major recurring role, the Oscar nominee and Emmy winner will play Jacob Wheeler on the Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers created AMC series. A self made Texas millionaire and energy company CEO, Cromwell’s Wheeler is looking to expand his corporate reach. That expansion brings him both close alliance and in conflict with the ever ambitious Joe MacMillan, played by Lee Pace.

No stranger to TV, Cromwell was on Six Feet Under for several seasons and won an Emmy in 2013 for his Dr. Arthur Arden role on FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum. More recently the Babe actor has appeared on Betrayal and TNT’s Murder In The First.
