when you've done it for the better part of two decades I would guess its a tough habit to break....I don't like it either but at least he isn't trying to hog the spotlight...he does his best to get the contenders to talk and interact with the crowd

Just saw the whole season premiere. I have got to say that it was awesome. John showed great courage.

What is interesting will be the fact that more new Gladiators will debut (including MMA Fighter Erin Toughill and Pro Wrestler Matt Morgan). Leads me to believe that some of the current crop from season one won't be back for season three.

The one most likely to leave after season two though is Crush. She's getting a lot of criticism from within the world of Mixed Martial Arts though for not concentrating on her fighting career and instead focusing on Gladiators. She says that she can do both, but there are people who say that her first MMA loss will come on May 31st when she fights Kaitlin Young because of that lack of focus. She may have to leave after this season to focus solely on her fighting career. She really hasn't been promoted all that much for that fight (as it's been Kimbo Slice).

She's most likely to leave out of all of the current gladiators and it really would not shock me if she did leave.

Their POV is that there are other female fighters who have been in MMA longer, have more wins, and feel that Carrano has gotten on the card simply because of her looks and AG. Part of me was put off by the fact that she did the interview all dressed up in a club outfit....I would have bought it a little more if she was in her workout stuff or at least in a gym.

From what I have heard, Former MMA Fighter Erin Toughill debuts next week.

She'll be interesting. It may start rumors of her coming out of retirement to fight Gina Carano. She also has a bit of a history with Leila Ali.

Oh and I forgot to mention this, but every single female gladiator on that show so far is hot (and Siren, who has yet to return). I'm interested in seeing how Toughill looks as Steel. She's not bad to look at either:

i really like her in these pics. she looks good. i don't like the other pics of her on google.

although she looks pretty good in that shot as an AG, i don't think she's as hot as crush, phoenix, venom, or now jet. although i'll wait until i see her in action. sometimes picture might not show the person in the best light.
