Is it just me, or is Crush looking a little bored during the combat events (Joust, Earthquake)? She's been smoking contenders without fail, and lately her eyes have been like "Okay, here's another one, let's drop her and move on ..."

Haha. That's what makes it so cool for me. After the [all too quick] "fight," she tries to look excited about it, and usually fails. I'd like to see the day a contestant actually comes around that is challenge for her.

Alas, we'll have to wait till next season, seeing that the first round is up, and from here on out, she'll be facing people she's taken out before. Unless one of these females decided to really bulk up/train, just for her.

i always thought that was part of her character. it was like that in season 1 also. she would never scream or grunt. she would just say "yuuuup" and just wave and smile after she wins.

An un-named source within Affliction has confirmed the invite and acceptance of Six American Gladiators for tonight’s PPV “Banned”.



The Following Gladiators will be on hand as guests of the promotion:

Titan, Justice, Beast, Militia, Panther and Steel



The PPV “Banned” takes place tonight on PPV with the main event being Fedor Emelianenko vs. Tim Sylvia.



There will be a 1 Hour Special shown on FSN at 8pm that will feature a few of the undercard matches.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - if they don't tone down the 'corn factor' they're not going to have a show anymore. These stupid contender speeches before and after the events are only getting worse! Tonight I found myself muting a large portion of the show!

I'm starting to think that there is more of a reason why ratings are down than just other competition on tv.

Did anyone happen to catch the "I'm going to be like butter and get on a roll" comment?

The original version of AG was never like this. The commentators/hosts talked to the contenders like real people. The contenders acted like real people, and answered the questions like real people. No one acted like a puffed up corn ball!

The original AG was on for years for a reason...
