America's Best Dance Crew presented by Randy Jackson

Fanny Pak was great (unlike the undeserving Status Quo making the finals last year, let alone Top 3), but I am just glad that my two favorites are in the finals. Next week is going to be hard for me to decide a favorite. I will admit one thing, though. I thought that, judging by tonight, Super Cr3w were going home. Fanny Pak's final performance blew Super Cr3w's out of the water. I was shocked to even be thinking that.

Yeah, I'm definitely not trying to take anything from Super Cr3w. I'm just disappointed that it played out the way it did. If they had to win, I would have wanted it to be unquestionable. Had they done something comparable to the performance they did for the "Rock The Title" challenge (as I think that was their best performance of the season), it would have been a lot harder for me to pick who did better. In which case, I'd have no problem with them winning over Fanny Pack. But dammit if tonight wasn't one of their weakest nights, whereas Fanny Pack had one of their best nights.

wow, this episode threw me curve balls every time. i'm actually disappointed that the 2 battling crews were Fanny Pack and Super Crew. i honestly think that SoReal Crew is the weakest of the 3 crews. their last few numbers haven't wowed me the way Super Crew or Fanny Pack's have. Super Crew and Fanny Pack brought it every time for the last 3 episodes and most of SoReal's endings were kinda lame.

to me, this episode should have been the finals and i'm very disappointed that they booted Fanny Pack during an episode that not only was dedicated to the decade that inspired Fanny Pack, but the episode of Fanny Pack's best performances. it's almost as if America and MTV said "here's the perfect opportunity for you to win this competition" and then pulled the rug from under their feet. they were clearly the underdog from the very beginning and i'm so glad that they got this far, but i honestly think they deserved to be top 2 at the very LEAST.

i hope Super Crew kicks SoReal Crew's ass all over the floor next Thursday.

^LMAO I completely agree. SoReal isn't even that good to me, and JC was right for calling it out. If anyone deserves to be their next week it shouldv'e been Fanny Pack . Why America didin't vote for them is beyond me.

In the beginning I had So Real & Supreme Soul at the final. As weeks went by, I got real bored with So Real and had Fanny Pak up there with either SC or SS. I'm so dissapointed in the way things turned out last night. I'm glad JC called out So Real.

I also think that MTV once again pulled the region ******** on this one. :cmad:

That's really what pisses me off the most, the fact that the show essentially orchestrated events that appeared to be in Fanny Pack's favor. To say nothing of the judges clearly expressing more enjoyment of Fanny Pack's performance over Super Cr3w. Shane even started his thoughts on Super Cr3w by saying "No matter what happens. . . ." a classic beginning to a "sorry, you lost" speech!! One of the dudes in Spuer Cr3w even looked like he was gonna start crying when Shane started with his thoughts.

fanny pack and supercrew shoulda went to the finals...so real cru are just barely sliding by every week...whereas the praise from the judges for both fp and sc have always been through the roof.

I agree Fanny Pak should have won the whole thing. Super crew was ok, So Real Cru was a little better than average...I wondered how they were safe every week..who voted for them over and over.
Fanny Pak had the uniqueness and always ENTERTAINED. To me, as a viewer, that is the most important thing.

SEASON 3

so i just finished watching the first episode of the new season and i gotta say....we're in for some crazy performances this season. i think they booted the right crew off even though they share my avatar, hehe. those guys were talented no doubt, but even though they had lots of breaking and big movements, they were basic and boring.

i think the cloggers are an interesting addition, but i'm not sure they'll make it as far as say....break sk8 or fanny pack. i like clogging, i think they incorporated modern dance into their routine very well, but i just don't see them one-upping the competition.

btw, if i had to wager money on a winner right NOW....my money would be on Quest Crew, but i've been wrong before. i just know i look forward to more dances from these new crews.

i honestly wasn't impressed with Ringmasters. i don't doubt that they can make it to the top, but i didn't really see much dancing. there was a lot of cool tricks, contortions and formations, but again...not much dancing. it's a new style and it's very interesting, but at the end of the day...it's all about DANCING. if they don't bring the rhythm then they won't last.

btw, i'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that either Boxcuttuhz or Team Millennia get das boot on the next show.

I feel the same way. I lmfao when Lil' Mama was crying over them because they be representing Brooklyn. Made it seem like talent rarely comes out of there. :whatever: If they make it for more than 2 episodes. It's because of Lil' Mama. And when they lose. You know she's going to throw a rant about how they should not be in bottom 2, give them a standing ovation & cry over them once again.

I was glad to see Team Millennia in the line up after not making it last season. But their rock theme routine sucked. Wtf was that !?

Boxcuttuhz were alright. People drooling over them talk about loving the nerd theme like if it were something new. Didn't a crew from last season do a nerd theme and got tossed in that same episode

My favorites are Beat Freaks. About time we see an all girl version of Jabba/Super crew.

After them it would be Quest. Ugly ass outfits but a pretty sick routine.

And I love the cloggers (Dynamic Edition) from Bama. They just need to add in a hip hop theme into it and they should out last Ringmasters. But will definitely out last Fly Khicks. Love the booty shaking. But if that's all you got. Gtfo of here.

I'm keeping my eyes on Beat Freaks and Quest for now. I'm glad to see those two guys from So You Think You Can Dance? on Quest.

pretty much agree with everything you said...even Quest's ugly fashion, hehe.

yeah, i recognized Ryan...but what other guy was on there?

it's the asian...with the one braid going around his head...forgot his name.

Hok, from Australia, I believe. Yeah, I was happy to see him hook up with a crew.

I lke the Ringmasters 'cause they just seem so out there and very unique. I think tonight's show will be where we see which crews will really shine in the competition. First week is always the crews doing their own thing, but it quickly gets to the point where you see how well they can work with the objectives of the challenges and really see who can adapt and incorporate various dance elements seamlessly into a performance. After tonight, I'm sure will have a better idea of who the frontrunners in the competition will be.

when i first read this, i was like "which one?" lol.....cuz they're all Asian.

ohhh okay, the one with the fugliest style, hehe.

Quest Crew FTW.. I call it now.... lol
if they keep that kind of energy, and if they are as versatile as they are exciting....then they'll be the winners.

definitely agree with that.

I actually have NO hope for Ringmasters...right now they seem like a team with one trick...and, while cool, don't know how they'll grow out of it.

Oh and Dominic was also on SYTYCD haha

so Episode 2 was alright. i was blown away with JC and Lil' Ma's reactions towards Quest Crew and when Shane asked "are we watching the same show?" i literally yelled "THANK YOU!!!" Striker's All-Stars killed it this time and so did Beat Freaks. i'm losing interest in Fly Khicks and Dynamic Addition but they did okay. they just need to spice it up, especially Fly Khicks cuz their dance wasn't very flashy. i will say that, even though JC is sorta lame, he has a point by saying that Dynamic Addition shouldn't have to worry about hip-hop (specifically) as much as they have to worry about being versatile. Ringmasters was alright, but i'm glad the judges told them that they need to start actually dancing. sorry, but on that show, a little shoulder bounce as you move to your next position isn't 'dancing'.

as for Team Millennia and Boxcuttuhz....i was disappointed with the judges' decision. i think Team Millennia is pretty weak and the fact that they THINK they're rockers just erks me. i definitely agreed with Lil' Ma the previous week when she said "don't confine yourself, just be you" because in the end...it's not their theme or outfits that are going to get them saved or booted, it's their performance. plus....i just think the boxcuttuhz's dances (even though they weren't strong) were better and funner to watch. anyway, i look forward to the next show and hopefully justice will be served this time.

Quest will just wreck everyone...nuff said!

The elimination was bs...Team Millenia is just some ordinary team that looks like it tries to do things that Kaba Modern did but can't even compare.

This week the crews will be dancing to Britney Spear's biggest hits and are each given things to implement in their routines. Here ya go:

Beat Freaks - "Womanizer - Perform w/ two opposing Dance styles
Dynamic Edition - "Stronger" - Perform w/ a chair
Fly Khicks - "Hit Me Baby One More Time - Perform w/ sharp turns in routine
Quest Crew - "Toxic" - Perform part of routine blindfolded
Ringmasters - "Circus" - Perform as though on stilts
Strikers All-Stars - "Gimme More" - Perform creating mirror images of themselves
Team Millenia - "Me Against the Music" - Perform w/ a hat and cane
