An Action Figure Website

Well, we'll have to wait...and everyone else wants Emporium in it, but I don't want people to think that we're selling stuff.

I'd worry about Superhero Hype taking offense to action figure hype.

They can't, and I don't think they have a lot of interest in figs, and it's an Homage to how and where we all started this thing, and it gives them more incentive to buy/merge us later on.

Eh, if they wanted to, they could raise a legal stink over the similarities in name. I don't know the technical side of it, but after working in a law office for a year with a patent attorney, they could show cause for infringement.

They can't raise a stink any more than Action Figure Times could.

And are you really worried about a Legal Stink over the word Hype when you wanted to use te Copyrighted name 'Fat Frenchy?"

Buuuuuut...

If we do get this going, and we find what we have to do, we can become official press! Meaning, we could get press badges to go to different toy shows and such, and to conventions.

Also, going to conventions can be viewed as a tax deduction. So trips, hotel stays, cost of the convention, everything, can be deducted if we can prove that we're doing it for work.

I doubt Mattel even remembers that line.

We could probably buy the rights to it for $1.50 now.

Where exactly would we be getting our news, though?

I don't think any of us have the sources that cooltoyreview, marvelousnews, or any of the other sites have.

I don't want to be posting news seen and heard on other sites after they've already trickled to the majority of online collectors.

We'd have to get sources.....and steal the news from other sites......But the articles would be all original.

With my Accounting Skills I can write anything off...but yes business trips would be, but running a site (Or anything) From my house allows me to write off 1/4 of my Mortgage

You know Jesse Falcon...kind of....we could steal him.....and it's not always about sources, it's about getting a following of folks that check the site and the companies knowing we are there.

They release press releases to the various sites to post....once they know we are there we will be added to their news E-mail list.

Because they want thier name and news out there as much as we want to be the ones to report it.
