Sucks man, I wole up late again today and couldn't go get my Red Arrow and Black Canary. I got a bad feeling they won't be there.

I had the honor of talking to a really cool exec type dude from Mattel for a good long while and he told me some of the following:

The chase variants are the black firestorm and long haired aquaman. Red and Blue superman will be packed evenly. They will both have the same BAF piece.

Nightwing is "going to happen a long time from now".

Mattel is considering doing a brand new robin, probably not in the newest costume.

Metamorpho is the BAF for the first DCU line.

The current head of DCSH is a great guy and a fan boy, thus the new character selection.

They have considered/are considering doing a Build-A-Set.

They also considering have the Brainiac Space ship as a mail away offer. Not sure what that is, but you'd have to get all 25 UPCs from all 25 figures over a year, mail it in, and get the Brainiac Spaceship. It didn't cost out and got scrapped.

Also, in the Dark Knight there will be 2 villains. Joker and someone yet to be named. The other villain is not a returning villain. Scarecrow may or may not return, it hasn't been set in stone.

The Dark Knight 6-inch line will feature Batman, Joker, a joker thug, and the other unnamed villain, and maybe one more.
