He doesn't like that he can't see other people/MJ plays too big a role in stories thus limiting them...are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Make Spidey convert to Mormonism. Then he could be married to Black Cat, MJ and whoever else he fancies simultaniously. Also with four wives it certainly opens up the potential for telling more varied stories, I mean who would pay to see a one-shot that just featured MJ and black cat ***** -slapping each other for an entire issue.

Neatly avoids divorcee/widower, perfect answer really

This requires none of those it just means his time will be divided between 2+ marriages rather than simply devoted to MJ. Although may cuase some watson jealousy related arguments. Just proves how little control we as customers have though. He even came out about the no-smoking policy recently and said this company is not a communist state, I'm editor in chief so if I want something in the books it goes in

Yeah, DC's gone from good stuff all around leading up to IC to about half of its titles sucking after IC. On the bright side, it kind of levels the playing field for me; DC's no longer leaving Marvel in the dust in quality. On the other hand... it kind of levels the playing field for me.
