Comedy Anaconda - The Reboot

Oh, I've seen this trailer in front of every movie I've seen in the past three months.
I saw it when it first dropped online in September but never on the big screen. Since then I've seen One Battle After Another, Frankenstein, Predator Badlands and Wicked 2 in theaters and none of them had it.

Maybe it's a South thing.
I was thinking the only movie I saw in theaters where it would have been appropriate to be attached to was Predator. OBAA and Frankenstein skewed more R-rated and trailers in front of Wicked were more big upcoming family movies. Funny considering how with the exception of Frankenstein, each time had 30 minutes of trailers.

It thought this was a crossover with xXx at first at the end there.

Hey, that's not what the early reactions led me to believe! :cmad:

I like both Jack Black and Paul Rudd, and I was gifted an AMC A-List membership for Christmas, so I figured I'd check this out. It made me laugh out loud a few times, but for being only a 90 minute movie, it felt like 3 hours. At one point I thought for sure the movie had only 5 minutes left, but I still hadn't seen the scene from the trailer where they think Jack Black is dead and strap a dead pig to his back. So, I was like "Damn, they cut that whole scene from the movie!" Then 20 minutes later, that scene happens. And I was like "Damn, it's only been an hour!?" Funny at parts, but mostly long and boring. Oh, and my wife fell asleep for about 30 minutes of it. 4.5/10
