Great Odin's raven! An Anchorman sequel might finally be moving forward. Last year, Will Ferrell told EW.com that he and Anchorman director Adam McKay were working on a followup that would bring classy 1970s newsman Ron Burgandy into the 1980s. By the hammer of Thor! On Monday, Ferrell, in Australia promoting Land of the Lost, told Aussie radio hosts Jono & Dano (that he expected to meet with Paul Rudd and Steve Carell "next week" to discuss ideas…and salaries: "[Because] believe me, I'm not taking a pay-cut. No way!"

Sweet, make it the 80's and add some appropriate but funny clothing changes on the World News network.

Bring back Baxter and add Danny McBride and John C. Reilly and let's plant this F***ing seed!

We need some Wes Mantooth as well!

Perhaps have another news team battle royale?

Koechner better be back.

Or somebody's face is getting smashed into a car windshield.

As long as Paul Rudd returnes with the overdone mustache I'm in.

"HE PUTTING CORNINGSTONE ON!!":woot:

Yeah, flawed logic if ever I saw it. In fact, it's not even logic at all.

Anyway, technically, wasnt there already an 'Anchorman 2' in the form of 'Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie'?

But anyway - I'm hoping they all return again.
Yes. And it was AWESOME. I liked it better then the original cut, which is saying alot
.

And pick up the soundtrack, it has Ron introduce each song from the movie (cries over an entire one), pretty funny.

It's made from real panther bits so you know it's good.

AHEM!. correction: "It's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good."

Steve

as long as they keep adam mckay as director, have the original writers, ALL the original actors, and take their time with it.

i consider Anchorman to be the funniest movie EVER made. i know im not the only one who quotes it on a daily basis.

other than that, if this movie does get made, i would be SO happy.

"BAXTER you are my little gentlemen, I'll take you to foggy London town because you are what?, my little gentlemen,...This Burrito's delicious but it's filling"

Steve

What the hell Bro? Did... you just throw a burrito out your window?

I said... your hair... looks stupid.

BURGUNDY RAGE.

"I will punch you right in the ovary."
