Horror Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire | AMC

I'm willing to give it a chance. I should re-read Interview in the meantime. Long overdue.

All the photos look like they take place in the 1920's and not the late 1700's.
Don't know what to make of this yet.

Probably because they take place in the 1920s and not the late 1700s.

So AMC is calling their shared Anne Rice series the Immortal Universe. Kinda think it’s neat.

Hmmmm....from the back you could have sworn it was Cruise. Hopefully it's a sign they are trying to stay true to an incredibly accurate aesthetic established in 1994 and not just some marketing cheat.

I want to say yes.

This seems to be taking teaser of a teaser to a whole other level, what are even these clips.

I’m guessing those first two are from the upcoming trailer. There obviously not official so idk where they got them from but it’s from a fan Twitter page.

The trailer did look very CWish in how it was put together but I don't know, I think there might be something there underneath it all. I think the trailer was constructed like that to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. My curiosity has increased slightly again, but more likely I'm just a glutton for punishment at this point.

I'll give it a chance. I was never keen on Tom Cruise as Lestat. Maybe this guy will be better. :)

really hoping this is good.

Me, too. I'm getting really jazzed for it. :)
With this series and Let The Right One In on Showtime we should have some pretty decent Vampire content on television this fall at least.

I’m glad they are leaning into the queer elements with this. I hope they go all out with it.
