Annoying sayings

its not necessarily an annoying saying, but i hate watching movies with someone, and we've both never seen it, yet the person is constantly asking "what's he/she doing? where they going? etc, etc."

i always say "let's find out together shall we?" and they usually get mad and don't ask anything for a while

It's more annoying to watch a film with someone who HAS seen it that doesn't know how not to "over-anticipate" the scenes...

"Watch this next bit,"... (as if I haven't been watching)

"Oh, this scene is important"...

"Wait until you see this"... (nope, I'm gonna get up and leave)

and so on

What gets on my **** is when people talk during a movie non-stop. :o

Totally.
I don't know which is worse.
When they're asking questions about the most obvious things because they're stupid and/or not paying attention
Or when they ask you about things we aren't SUPPOSED to know.

A mysterious pair of hands in black leather gloves cuts the phone chord in the mansion. Now they won't be able to call for help if something happens!
And the person goes, "WHO did that? Who would cut the chord?!? It's only just the 12 people in the mansion. Who would've cut the chord? Is someone else in the mansion with them?!? Or was it one of THEM?!?"

JEsus! There's a...reason, we could only see the hands.
'CAUSE WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHO DID IT YET!
Shut Up and watch for clues!

"Get with the program!"
:o :)

What I meant was... what you just described, that's not an "annoying saying" unless the conversation during the movie involve "annoying sayings".

Just a few I hate:

"Cool Beans."
"I'm so hungry I could eat a cow."
"You go girl."

And maybe the most annoying: "I'm gonna put somethin' on you that Ajax won't take off."

For example
Open la puerta
Why can't they say
Open the door

El ASESINO when people mix Spanish & English.:dry::dry::dry:

When people say "late" instead of later when there hanging up the phone.

Just say "later" dammit! Or, crazy idea, how about saying "bye"?

"Datz" the mispronunciation of "That's"
Zat again mispronunciation of "That"

People who end a sentence with "ya know". My father is guilty of this.
"Sweet"
****ing-A
"Datz my girl"

"That's Sick"... when it's actually good / great.

I like all "sayings" I find them humorous and they color people's conversations.
seriously. I don't know what I would do If I was unable to use the word "dude"

dude, that would be like...depressing :(

Whats' funny about this thread is that we type out nicely, well written posts here on the hype(sometimes). I'm sure we've used at least half of these words or phrases at some point in life when speaking to someone without realizing it.:cwink:

When people say one of the two.

''These things are sent to try us or Test us''

I just hate it, its like oh so someone getting there leg ripped off happen to test them.

Or someone dieing was sent to try you.
It just bugs me, my aunt says it and its like please shut up.

I work in sales. It kills me when my customer tells me I'm such a good salesman, and then doesn't buy anything.

George Carlin did an entire bit on things like this. Really great stuff!
