Any of the storyline's i nthe movie's happen inthe comic's??

I asked some question's like this loooong ago and i have read many x-men book's and saw the cartoon's and im just wondering if any of the stuff from all 3 movie's happend in the comic's???

(1) was Sabretooh,Toad and Mystique ever in the brotherhood at the same time together???

(2) Does cerebro exist i nthe books???

(3) Have magneto ever had a plan where he wanted to change the whoel world into mutant's(I think i read once where he was tryign or or wanted to not sure)

(4) Has lady deathstrike ever worked for someone else( i think ive seen her alway's on her own or her own boss)

(5) is Alkali Lake(I forgot how u say it) a real lake?? (used i nthe comics???)

(6) Has the brotherhood and the x-men joined force's together ??((I think ive read where magneto helped the x-men onsome mission's but i cant rememebr much)

(7) Has Bobby ever had a thing with kitty??

(8) Did jean/Phenoix kill scott( I know he's dies i nthe comic's but i dont think ive read if by jean)

(9) is the cure a thing from the comic's??

(10) who killed Xavier i nthe comic's( I never knew who killed him)

(1) i dont think sabes was ever in the brotherhood. mystique had her own brotherhood team and was never with mags. toad was in mag's orginal brotherhood, and led his own team in later days.

(2) cerebro's always been around.

(3) dont think so.

(4) deathstrike worked for 'the reavers', a band or cyborgs. but she was still pretty independent. she only needed their help to get to wolverine.

(5) dunno about that one.

(6) magneto actually joined the x-men for a while in the 80's. mystique's brotherhood worked with the x-men a few times.

(7) bobby and kitty have a thing in the ultimate line of comics (it's an alternate marvel universe that is a re-imagining of the regular universe).

(8) jean never killed scott. the x-men had to kill him once when he merged with apocalypse. but he came back soon after. dunno the details.

(9) the cure was a storyline in joss whedon's first "astonishing x-men" run from a few years ago.

(10) xavier faked his death once in the early days. and his original body was killed by the alien brood. cant think of any other deaths.

1) I think there was an incarnation of the Brotherhood where Mystique and Toad were in it at the same time. Not sure about Sabertooth. Was he ever really in the Brotherhood? In the 80's he was part of Sinister's Mauraders.

2) Cerebro has been around since the beginning I think.

3) I don't recall anything like that. He recently had a storyline where he had his daughter alter reality so mutants (namely him) ruled.

4) Lady Deathstrike worked with Stryker a few years ago, but that was so it would tie in with the movie.

5) Not sure

6) Magneto joined up with the X-Men in God Loves, Man Kills to try to stop Stryker. A couple of years later he reformed and ran the X-Mansion for a while when Xavier became ill and went to space, but that didn't last. Sabertooth I think pretended to reform for a while. Juggernaut has reformed and was an X-Man for a little bit.

7) I know in Ultimate X-Men that would be a yes (Ultimate is a retelling of the X-Men story outside of the original storyline).

8) No. Cyke was killed off like 6 years ago but he got better.

9) The cure seems to be based off of the storyline from Astonishing X-Men a couple of years ago. Beast was tempted to take it but decided not to.

10) Xavier seemed to die way back in the 60's, but that ended up being someone pretending to be Professor X (Changeling). Xavier was near death in the 80's at one point but he ended up being treated by the Shiar and showed up again in the early 90's. He got infected by a Brood once but they were able to transfer his mind to a cloned body or something like that.

1) PRE MOVIE Sabretooth never was in the Brotherhood although he has teamed with Mystique before on occasions. He was also a Marauder--- a MUTANT group of mutant hunters/killers organized by Mister Sinister------he just liked the killing.

I do think there as a short storyline in Uncanny Xmen( right around the release of the movie and when scott came back) where he did work with mystiques brotherhood. he even got a costume similar to the movie version......


Mystique did lead an incarnation of the Brotherhood but not with Magneto...Magneto lead the first incarnation with Blob, Toad


2)Yup, cerebro has pretty much always been there.

3) kinda vague on this one...magneto has had many machinations many stories.

4)Just with the Reavers, ( cybernetic band of mutants with a SERIOUS hate for wolvie...kinda like Cyclops fans.) she also worked with the silver samurai on occasion . anyone she can use to get to wolverine.

5)unsure about that one.

6)yes... a few years ago in the comics. Magneto did lead the X-men for a short while....he taught at the school, wore a HUGE WHITE "M" on his costume...no helmet.......that didn't take.

7)not that i'm aware... but i have been outta the loop on recent years continuity-----too many x books. She's always had a thing for Collosus and a few years ago for a cat named pete wisdom. BUT She and Collosus...stuff of legends and teen romance novels...like Jean and Scott.

8) Nope...although a clone of her named Madelene Pryor ( to whom I think cyclops was married to--- he was definately with her) did try in a little crossover called INFERNO. Cyke did later die ...but he got better.

Also in the Dark Phoenix Saga she ( Jean) did come close. ( she was also being amnipulated by the Phoenix force and the Hellfire club)

9) yup i beleive on a couple stories but most recently in Joss Whedons ASTONISHING X-MEN ( from which a little bit of the movies story was borrowed ...very loosely) ..if you can get the trade and Read that! great stuff.

10)Xavier has on a few occasions been dead or has switched bodies....even as far back as the 60's! ( he even could walk for a while because his mind was implanted in a clone body).
