I have an adopted sister. My sister's friend's parents were heroin addicts, and my sister wanted my parents to help her. They went to child protective services and had her taken away and went through adoption processes. Now I'm perplexed. She's really hot and now she's like a sister. I wanted to hook up with her before, but now I don't know what kind of ethical barriers i'd be crossing.

Just how old is this girl and you? First of all I'm almost certain they could have just taken her without having to adopt her. What is she like 12?

No, I'm 30, she's 33. they adopted her 20 years ago.
