I'm confused about these plot points, can somebody explain them for me thanks;
1. If the brains of dreamers are functioning 20x normal under the sedation, how are the dreamer's even alive? Did some minute pass?
2. Cobb says they have an hour, and Arthur has three minutes. After they miss the kick, Cobb says they have 20 minutes. This would mean, by simple math, Arthur has 1 minute. Did Arthur do everything and the prep for the kick in 1 minute or he had a couple left, until the van was in the water? He says he has a couple minutes in the snow third level scene.
3. Arthur proves he doesn’t know how is it possible to penetrate three layers, but he previously advised Ariadne about building three dream levels, and it is revealed when the team is arguing in the garage that he suspected about Cobb and Mal doing it in the past, did he know it or he just said it was impossible at the time?
4. How Cobb knows he's in Limbo at the end? And did the sedation finish so they could be back in real world?
5. The team needing at least ten hours in “reality” does contradict what Eames says in the first level (“I was supposed to have all night to crack this”), because “all night” in the first level is less than an hour in the plane, so how much time they had?
