......****!!! :(

At least it's not definite that it's severe. It's possible he'l make a full recovery still, positive thoughts people!

I hope the Hamster comes back. I want an episode where they show the footage and everyone in the audience, and Jeremy and Jay, just cringe and moan.

And then they announce his name and Richard comes out to thunderous applause.

I hope he gets 100 % better very very soon; Top Gear wouldnt be the same without him
:(

I hope he pulls through. And hopefully without any perminant brain damage :( I love this guy.

Hmm...good recovery. Not full. I don't expect to see him back on TG anytime soon :(

Reckon he'll get straight back to what he loves doing? I mean, within days of full recovery?

I hope so. I never used to watch TP, but saw the first episode of Braniac. Knowing he was on TP, I began to love that.

Anyone remember the race, from Italy to London? Hamster and James in the plane, which he couldn't even fly at night...pretty funny stuff.

TP wouldn't be the same without him :/

I just watched that episode. The Bugatti is the Batmobile.

And the other races were good too. Surrey to Monte Carlo against a train. And Surrey to Verbeir against a jumbo jet.

Ive been watching it on the news like a hawk all day, I really hope he makes a full recovery, Hammond, Clarkson and May have made Top Gear one of the Best programs the BBC have ever done, and one of the most popular, Hammond is a great presenter, I love him on Braniac, and he's so cute!! I hope when he recovers from this that it wont keep him from driving or presenting, eventually, but the doctors have avoided quoting to the media that they expect him to make a full recovery, which I dont like!

LOOK HOW CUTE!

This is why stunts like this should be left to professionals not TV presenters.

in fairness, on Top Gear they arent just TV presenters, they have had training for this stuff, and they've been doing it a long time, it was something that went bad with the car not Hammonds driving so the outcome would have been the same who ever was driving.
Though I did wonder if had it been a tallr man driving, would the injuries have been worse? I heard on the news that James May was originally meant to Have been driving the vampire, not Hammond.

I really hope he gets better. I love the hamster. :(

Jezza and Captain Slow have said Hamster is doing well. Thank God, he is getting better.:yay:

I love the hamster :( Top gear was due to start filming next month, I wonder if they will do it without him?

I read somewhere that they have done most of the outside filming, but havn't finished the studio filming yet. I think the BBC is still deciding whether to show the series next month or delay it, depending on how well Hamster recovers.

er, top gear was around long before he came to the scene...

the only person top gear can't work without is the main dude whose name escapes me...that's it clarkson

remember that the original top gear team all went to do 5th gear before these two new dudes came in.
topgear has gone to a whole new level since the other's left.
