I LOVE these 'found footage' movies. I can't get enough of them. The best ones are frightening to me even though I know they aren't real, and I've never gotten that feeling from a standard horror movie. The presentation of these things as if the events really happened add a layer of plausibility that I find really satisfying.

I dont have any intrest in the PA movies because it's just stuff moving around....not really that creepy IMO. Aliens get me the most.

This movie looks really dumb. I am getting tired of these low budget footage movies. Discover the reason we never went back to the moon. Really? And an extremely generic plot to boot.

I do enjoy these type of movies , not saying all of them are good but they do hold my interest.

Some are better than others, no doubt. Paranormal Activity didn't do much for me. Quarantine was cool but they mostly killed all the suspense by showing the friggin ending in the trailers.

Loved Cloverfield. Blair Witch terrified me - "WHY'S HE JUST STANDING IN THE CORNER?!?" hehe. Good times.

Yeah, btw regarding Quarantine, didn't the directors try to cover their asses by lying about how the ending was going to different than the one shown in the trailer and it wasn't? I may be wrong but I remember STYD reporting that...

I'm a poster of this forum, and I am allowed to have the opinion to tell you to let others have an opinion without needless scrutiny.

I'm just saying.....it's one thing to disagree, but it's really annoying for people to act like they own the property, and are entitled to defend it. It's really alright for people to discuss that they dont want to see this.

Not sure. I remember someone on here saying "Hey, I think that's the final shot" and several rounds of "nah they wouldn't be that stupid" but then of course I saw the movie and yeah, they were exactly that stupid.

I dunno if [REC] ended the same way? I wouldn't be surprised.

It ends the EXACT same way. Saw it on Youtube after the Quarantine teaser came out. That's when I realized the directors of Quarantine were idiots to do something that ******ed. Sorry for the phrase, there.

Well I imagine that was the marketing people, or the producers fault than the director but it doesn't make it any less dumb. They did it in the poster too.
