APPLICATION: Future Marvel RPG

...sure...
Ok then lets re-phrase. Can we do heroic last stands during the invasion, when im "sure" theyl come back?

MJ's staying dead, or so help me God, I'll have her killed again! :cmad:

Sorry may i raise the question: Are we allowed to kill characters off as the result of the skrull invasion, or are the ones listed the only casualties?
i dont want too many characters killed off but if you want to, make sure theyre part of your character's universe (like mj to spidey, or pepper to tony, but not giant man just because you dont like woman beating b^%$&(d )give me a heads up about it and i can add to the dead list.

I am aware of Richards current status. I don't plan on using him lightly, and certainly not any time soon, but he will crop up in the story, alive or dead.

illuminati imposters may be played as.

the real illuminati are strictly off limits for this season for everyone including myself.

- I don't think Vulcan needs to be played yet. He doesn't actually show up till season 2 anyway.
- Let's keep it to one character. None of this attached NPC stuff. Proper etiquette says you can't use an NPC anyway till someone else is done with them.

The Amazing Spider-Man. That's why they used to call me.

But Spider-Man died several years ago. Now, there is only Peter Benjamin Parker.

I chose to stay in New York City - despite the deteriorating conditions. With the help of Doctor Steven Strange, I was able to restore my secret identity.

All-in-all, life hasn't changed as drastically as one would expect. Other than the overwhelming poverty and the Skrull militia in the streets, life goes on as usual in the city. But it is a city that once was vibrant and colorful, and now is merely shades of gray.

People are executed daily, as an example of what happens to those who speak or act out against the Skrull. Our so-called "inalienable rights" have been stripped of us.

No free speech.

No freedom of religion.

No right to assembly.

The Skrulls have made the Patriot Act seem like child's play. No more than three humans are allowed to gather in private, and public places are swarmed with Skrull eyes and ears. Telephones and computers have been taken away. The only way to communicate is with letters - all of which are opened and read by the Skrulls before they can be sent. If the Skrull suspect you of conspiring to overthrow, you are sentenced to death.

To me, the "good fight" no longer exists. Every day I hear rumors of a human rebellion forming in Africa. When I do, I consider them foolish.

The Skrull have won, and I am Spider-Man...no more.

Nice take on Peter.

Still undecided on character so far, we need a villainouse presence though:(

Exactly :( Unless, someone was IMPERSONATING a Skrull! Oh, the irony :)

I mean, at least with DC:NA - yeah, there was a devasting event to create a darker future, but heroes still could fight villains.

The more we talk about it, the shakier my faith in this backstory gets. :csad:

Would Titannus be a good or bad guy? He maybe a skrull, but he hates skrulls for making him their guinea pig. Maybe he could help the resistance.

The Skrulls could always utilize certain villains as their police type thing.

Well, if it helps I can have Doom more villainous?

I think Doom (and all the other villains for that matter) would be more concerned about overthrowing the Skrull first - rather than fighting heroes.

Yeah, thats how I see it. I cant really see Doom sitting around in his castle thinking 'Hmmm, the skrull are destroying humanity and the holding the world prisoner... but what do I do about that BLASTED FANTASTIC FOU-- I mean FANTASTIC TWO!'

Some how don't see it happening, I think Doom (of all people) would have his priorities right. But im just trying to help out with the Villain situation.

Not much can be done for the Villain situation...at least not until (if at all) the Skrull are overthrown - which wouldn't be any time soon. :csad:

I really wana work on the new avengers or as I'd like to call them the Revengers, see what I did there?

I figure it would be like a group of guirella fighters, struggling to take small victories, but I don't wanna play fury, so I'm considering the roster for it.

BTW, what's happened with atlantis?

You know, good readers, I'd love to tell you that the most beloved characters are always the good guys.

They're not.

Some of them are evil, cruel, and cheaters. Like Darth Vader.

Some of them are idiots, ******s, and freaks. Like Voldemort or the kid from "Mask."

And some of them, the best of the best, are "cover-your-ass" types. They only look out for themselves and do whatever anyone asks them to for the right price. They're mercenaries, folks. And that's what I am.

I'm a merc. And I'm a merc with a mouth.

Unfortunately for the rest of the heroes on... well... planet Earth, the Skrull Empire had slightly more to offer than Africa. So, with the dream of action in my heart, and dollar signs looming on the horizon, I took up employment with them.

So, first Earth; tomorrow the galaxy.

Courtesy of Deadpool, the biggest ass coverer in the galaxy.

unless the villains swear allegiance to the skrull empire. there always cabals.
