For everyone who's seen the Millar/Gough Aquaman pilot: Since they were actually able to get really good quality (special effects, etc) on a tv size budget, wouldn't it be a good idea to take the story they would have done with the series and pitch it to WB as a low budget film trilogy? I honestly think it could work really well, but I don't know how to contact those guys to try and convince them. Can anyone here help me?

Wow, another trilogy. How original. :whatever:

How about one decent movie first. Or for that matter, a decent Aquaman comic.

I'd rather have one awesome Aquaman movie than there low budget ones.

I just want a good Aquaman film. Period.

I concur.

My initial choice for Aquaman would be Matt Damon.

Other candidates are Val Kilmer, Paul Walker, & Owen Wilson.

I really dig the idea of Val Kilmer as Aquaman, but he's almost 47 now and knowing the way the studios are these days they'd probably hire some inexperienced metrosexual emo guy who's only like 20 some years old because they think he'll emit "sex appeal" or something stupid like that.

Paul Walker???

They would HAVE to go along and cast an unknown for waterboy just the way they did for Superman Returns.

Not necessarily. I have a very good choice that is soon to be posted in the Justice League thread as well as this one and others.

Oh jrp, your casting suggestions always make me laugh. As soon as I saw your first post saying you were about to suggest someone for Aquaman i knew we were in for a treat. :oldrazz:

the problem with a aquaman movie is that Marvel has plans for a Namor movie..
even thou there abit diffrent.. i find it hard to belive that people wont notice the similaritys

Errrrmmm..how about another Comic to Movie film on Aquaman starring
Ben Affleck as Aquaman?
Is it possible?
:D

Yeah, but Aquaman's a very well-known character, even if not well-liked. So really, regardless of an Aquaman movie being made, once the Namor film comes out, people'll already be seeing the similarities to Aquaman.

Because the same character over and over again becomes tiresome.
