Obviously the movie will update the costume, and it won't look exactly like the comics, but i think Aquaman's suit will generally resemble either the 90s suit or the classic suit.

Snyder's Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman all look like their comic counterparts, just with some minor changes. I suspect Aquaman will resemble his comic book counterpart as much as the Trinity resemble theirs. But Aquaman is well known for two very different outfits, which would you all prefer?

He should have the classic suit first. Then in his solo film, he can lose his hand and he can have the hook and the 90s suit for a while. Then he can go back to the classic suit, just with the enchanted water hand

I favour the 90's costume, but a mix and match of the best elements would be ideal.

All I care about is that they forget about the hook.

The way he lost his hand on Justice League TAS was compelling, and I'd love to see that on film. And if you hate the hook, he can lose the hand and have it replaced by the enchanted water hand, but he should lose his hand in the planned Aquaman film.

I like the New 52 Costume, something similar is what I'm hoping for. Not a fan of him losing his hand either but if they do I like the water hand better than the hook. I'd prefer he keep both hands though.

I don't see orange and green working well on-screen.

i think it could, but i doubt we'll get it. the colors will probably be muted, as per usual. wouldn't shock me at all if momoa's aquaman is shirtless with tattoos either.

If you voted other, say what you'd rather have instead of the 90s suit or the classic.

Why wouldn't it work? At this point I don't why they wouldn't work. We aren't going to see a bright orange and green spandex suit. They would play with the colors, texture, and patterns. I'm getting really annoying by people saying colors don't work. Yeah not all hue's and saturation work but many do. There are many kinds of orange. Orange also behaves very different if it placed on a reflective surface or on a matte surface. It behaves different if the surface has a pattern. It behaves different if the surface is 3 dimensional.

Have him make a badass debut with a 90's look. (not necessarily with long hair and a hook hand)

Classic costume can come later in the movie or JL.

I'm fine with Arthur and Diana not having their classic costumes or superhero names yet, especially considering this is a Batman/Superman story.

If they were to do this right, I'd love to see Aquaman evolve into the angry, long haired and bearded man, king of Atlantis we know him to later be. We saw Aquaman in STAS first wearing the classic suit, and then several years later in Justice League as the older version based on the 90's version. Frankly this versikn can be taken more seriously and I find it's the most interesting version, yet there's nothing that different, just the look, it's still Aquaman.

Given that Momoa has long hair, he could be the 90's version, while I prefer it, I still want to see the classic suit first. As we know it though, they are rushing the DC cinematic universe. I want to see the story where Aquaman and his baby are trapped and falling into the core. I want to see Aquaman sacrificing himself to save his child.

Another aspect about the 90's version, Aquaman's armour hand. It shows him to be a dangerous, angry beast you should not mess with. And he also uses it as a weapon which is cool.

No offense, I wouldn't call what you just described an "evolution" of the character. More like an uninteresting (IMO), clichèd regression.

Aquaman can have an orange and green outfit, but it just can't be solid colors. The green could also be replaced with teal. There needs to be different shades of colors in his suit like a how some exotic fish are. It would also be great if the suit has rustic colors. Almost as if his suit was carved from a sunken ship. Hopefully, the suit draws tons of inspiration from sea creatures, just not to the point that he looks like an actual creature.

As for his face, this is perfect. Just a bit more dirty blond.

I also like the New 52 suit that SofNascimento
posted. Though, if Aquaman is hopefully tattooed, it may be combined with this...
without the water hook though.

^ That is a massive re-imagining of Aquaman, not sure how I feel about it right now, but I do like his New 52 suit.

I'd like to see him start being clean shaven and gradually grow facial hair, have slightly, longer wavy hair in the next film, then by the third, he has the new suit and long hair and beard after a few years.

Both. Start with the 90's version it's raw and primal then around the time he joins the Justice League give him the classic suit to fit in with the other superheroes and honor both his human and Atlantean heritage.
