I tried to do it as if it were a minaturre model as thats what ive been used to painting in the past nd it really didnt work trying to build up the skin tones and give highlights so was going to change it to just have the one flat tone but less albino than hasbros look. Just not had time to do it yet.
But everything is a lesson learnt and i now know you cant shade and highlight marvel legends to that degree

i don't recommend painting faces unless you have an extremely good brush, steady hand, and a magnifying glass... otherwise, head swap her, with a head that has a better skin tone (i recommend either of these 3 heads xtreme rogue, psylocke, or MLF4 sue) then all u have to do is match the paint in a single tone on her body

Cheers for the advice spidey ill see what i can do to fix this disaster and if not ill chalk it down to experiance and buy a new one.
The steady hand and good paint brushes have never been to much trouble though as i done gamesworkshop for years just there is not enough depth on the sculpt to do what i was trying i guess ohhh well

wow, you actually did a pretty good job, love the hair (still cant stand her head, but the paint job is great. just need to not make her eyes yellow, and give her make up... also im not really digging the red x.. but thats just not my flavor for that...

Eyes are going in later my little boy woke up before i could get them fixed and was thinking about making the x silver like a clasp

Thanks guys and i now know for the future just to base coat it and not try to highlight all the way up big figures are less forgiven on that scale . Ill post up the imges once there all done but with terror able to coem and grab at paint pots at any time itll be later in the week im guessing as this is my only day off

ill be doing a similar thing with my black queen, ive been planning on breaking up her costume and even giving her a more comic accurate costume with her legs showing

oh i think one thing is the lips,if people repainted her lips red/pink you wouldnt hear nearly as much *****ing
