Are DC action figures going to be the new Marvel Legends (aka DC Legends)?

Absolutely. That and they need to improve circulation. Most Toys R Us stores are still relying on the first Batman series with Bane and Scarecrow. At least that's how it is down here. The only stores that got any beyond series one is walmart.

Target has gotten the second series and the twin packs. I can't remember if there were any DCSH figures last time I went to Toys R Us - I was too busy wigging the **** out after finding Luke Cage and Psylocke. :woot::up:

As Cyclops mentioned, the value of Legends cannot be matched. DCSH figures typically cost $10 for just a figure and comic on flimsy cardboard, whereas Legends figures can be found for $8 with a figure, comic, and a base in a sturdy clamshell.

It can be matched, they just wont.

But he was chosen to be in the line because he was smaller. Damn oil producing countries.

Don't Blame us....we frikking ship our oil down to you guy......it's us who get's out oil from you....it makes no sense......but your government can go and tell you that due to the war in Iraq and the Hurricanes in he gulf that the price of Oil must go up to the nines cause of all the danger getting it. But I can go to my kitchen window and look at the refineries and everything where your oil actually comes from and there is no wind no war....just a little snow.

So your government lies to you and says that your oil is had to get, and the price goes up, but in acuality the dangerous oil to get is coming to us in some stupid fair trade deal thingie and out price goes up.

Nothing to you guys personally but I say **** you guys, we should keep our Canadian Oil and Canadian Beef here in Canada and not trade oil for oil with you guys....it doesn't make sense.

I can't say anything that hasn't been said already, but I'll reaffirm that I don't think DCD will be the new ML.

First is articulation. Sure that blue and grey batman looked cool, but he's batman, a martial artist. His legs only go back and forth, an art mastered decades ago, his fists are solid rubber, which while cool poses he can't hold half the items he came with. His head is constantly looking down. That's the problem that plagues half the DCD. They COULD possibly take advantage and become the king, but that's only if they pick their game up. ATM their articulation is barely better than Mcfarlane figures, they cost $10, most don't come with any accessories let alone BAF's, come on cheap cardboard and have seen some with puncutured backsides causing damage (glad I looked when picking up a Superman). Heck, Superman is the only one I've seen so far that had decent articulation and a good sculp mix. Don't get me wrong, I want a Flash, better articulation Bats, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Mongol and so on, but most don't impress me. Not to count they have no varying scale, Superman is as tall as Doomsday, who's as tall as Wonder Woman, who's as tall as Batman, who's as tall as Bizzaro Superman.

ML had better articulation, just as good as sculpts, comics, BAF's, good packaging, all for $2 less than DCD. Hasbro will be brining over almost all of that, same sculpt ppl and everything, it's just their paint job that I see lacking. Well that and a few problems here and there like Wolverine's claws. I'll give them a chance tho, ML didn't have a great first line up with Toad in it. I think Hasbro is just getting the more popular characters out of the way first then can dig deeper into characters not made yet. Planet Hulk Hulk, Quicksilver, Yellowjacket, BAF Blob, Annihilus, Beast, Juggernaut, She-Hulk, and so on is by no means a bad line up to me. I'm gonna wait to see what the third series is, if it's another Wolverine, Spiderman, Hulk and so on then I might be there with you. Until then I'm giving Hasbro a chance, those pics we saw might have been early ones, I know the ones shown at that show were awesome.

For the second series, yes.

But man, I'm shocked that you can find DCDs for ten bucks. I've never seen them go for less than fifteen a piece.

Ohhhhh, that makes a bit more sense. Yeah, the lack in scale really hurts this line. Doomsday should be at least the same size as Hulk. From what I've seen, Darkseid is in scale with the other characters at least.

You know, it's funny but I just read Civil War: Choosing Sides the other day, and Tony was telling U.S.Agent that we get 20% of our oil from Canada, and that's part of why U.S.Agent has been asigned to the new Alpha Flight project.

Another thing that prevents DCSH from attaining Legends levels - using the exact same pack-in comicbooks for Series 4 as they did for Series 2. Darkseid and Brainiac both come with Bizarro's comic, and I haven't seen the others to judge.
