Now that we are actually getting "Marvel Legends" level DC figure from Mattel....there should be no reason that we get 4 or 5 inch crap figures anymore....Though Hasbro did it with both the SM3 & FF2 series waves...I don't see why the World's largest toy company should come short of greatnest in the future superhero films....Plus a 6 inch Christian Bale Batman and a 6 inch Ledger Joker figures would look really cool on my wall...:yay:

Not just that, but many other upcoming DC films including JLA

Anyway...I figure they will actually be 4 inch figures, but they will be coated in so much toxic lead paint that they will appear five inches.

mattel has already stated that there will be a 6" the dark knight line sculpted by the four horsemen. they said that it would be six figures though, so i'm assuming they're still going to have a 5" line as well.

I just hope they don't puul the same dumbass move with the ridiculous hordes of brightly colored BAtman figs with all sorts of garbage gadgets and gizmos and lame ass action features that they pumped out for Batman Begins. I hated even looking at those things, they were hideous.

From what the dude at mattel told me (too bad I never had a site to post an interview...), the 6" DCSH styled line is based off the movie and is for collectors and there will be a 5" line for kids.

But the downfall of the colectors line:

The Vehicles that they make will likely only be made for the kid freindly 5 inch line....Maybe we might see the batcycle in 6 inch scale glory.....but not the tumbler.

I don't really care about the vehicles anyway.

I think Mattel will do a crappy work as they always do!

My bad but we are LUCKY Hasbro took ML, cause Mattel would have cut artic to 1 POA!

My thoughts exactly.

Hopefully the 6" line will be great.

what the **** are you talking about? the new DCSH figures have almost just as many poa's and much better paint jobs and sculpts than 99% of the ML crap Hasbro is putting out.

too bad most of the pegs in Puerto Rico are filled with the crappy OLDER DCSH and superman returns crap...

Every TRU in Edmonton still has only superman, White shirt Supergirl and bizarros on the pegs.....that's it...has been like that for a long time now.....and Wal-Mart's and comic shops don't even stock them

Damn Rough, that sucks bro. BTW, I needed to make sure that a particular DCSH fig I offered you was still one you wanted.

if you offered and I accepted then yeah...I need it....what was it again?

I cant believe you like hasbro ML more than DCSH

The thing that was stupid about the BB line is how they kept saying it sucked 'cause they were showing they weren't focusing on the toys, but come on, if you're going to have toys for the film anyway, might aswell do it right. BB figs were a shame. I didn't bother getting any of them.
They should just own up to the fact that they did a crappy job and shouldn't say it's just 'cause of them not focusing on the toys.

The Batman face was absolutely horrible, I mean when they had Batman Returns figures it looked like Keaton, right down to the lips, and that was way back in 92, you'd think they'd have taken a step forward instead of back since then. Those old figs were really good, BF and B&R were, so, so, but Two-Face looked like Tommy more than any of the BB line looked like any of the actors.

It's a shame what's happened to the Batman film franchise anyway, it's not just the toys that lack quality, that Heath Ledger crap is a digrace to The Joker, I'll buy his toy just to take a big dump on it.

In my humble opinion, Habro ML's are better than each and every Mattle DCSH fig! again thats my opinion and nobodya have to share it. It alsa may be that I don't like nothing from DC(except Batman)...So there is one big problem for me and their figures. :whatever:

clayface disagrees with your marvel bias

It's funny how one of the darkest superhero movies with a PG-13 rating - Batman Begins - got those rinky-dinky action figures made for 7 year olds. Why would they change anything for the sequel?

Y' know that clayface looks ok for a sentient pile of clay... but looking at uIM... He could make a nice Samus Aran Custom...
BTW How many PoA does Clayface have?
