I think you are wrong. Just because you think you might not be desirable trust me looks are not what counts .. I think what is inside a person is much more important than what is showing on the outside . You would be so surprised how many beautiful ladies would be very interested in you and not someone who thinks they are God's gift to the entire human race .. To me looks are not important and as far as age I just think older men seem to think more with their heart and less with their .....

Very impressed by your kind thoughts about looks being not the only thing. Being as i am. Perhaps i unknowlingly judge beautiful people because of my school experiances and the fact to my self i am no prize and unattractive. But when you get to be around 30 and not married or with someone and are not handsome like myself. You tend to think alone is how i shall be. Sorry its just how i am. Based on experiance. I'll post an example. A girl i liked who was no real prize but to me she was everything. Lets say it ended badly the friendship for she ended up with my best friend who well lets say is lower on a th rung then myself then looks and she is with him but did a 64 year old man. Because her so called love my ex -friend could not get preganant. Get this and she had this old prunes baby and he was my ex- friends boss . You see my experiances in dating has made me quit even thinking about it.

Age is very important as i'm more attractive to people who look older than me, especially middle aged ladies, i think there is something about their eyes and they way they carry themselves. there is a lot more confidence and class there than a younger lady who is more likely to be looking to a steady rock to lean on more than an equal partner.

Though it's not always the case, you do tend to notice that the hotter the person, the less attractive their personality. That old adage that attractive people don't need to compensate by having nice personalities does ring true at times, but then again I've seen butt ugly people that act like they're the end all be all. I'm not mean but i can be grumpy about things. I'm not against good looking people for i think Johnny Depp and Hugh Jackman were cool.
As for the actress side i prefer the smart talented ones like Cate Blanchett, Ashley Judd and Maria Bello for the older ones. Kiera Knightly, Rosario Dawson and Natalie Portman for the younger ones. I don't look at every hot actress and fall in love. I like a good mind and personaility in them.

As someone who has never been good looking I can tell you that looks are extremely important even with people who think that they believe otherwise. When I was in school on several occasions the conversation turned to looks and the girls almost always said that looks were not very important. They all seemed to be sincere as well. But when you watched which guys they hung out with and which ones they approached for conversation it was always the attractive guys.I myself knew more attractive girls than unattractive ones so I really couldn't complain since I was using the same standards. Partly it is confidence, attractive people are more willing to make themselves emotionally available.
