Why do most people think sex is dirty? Whats so dirty about it? We exist because of it. A lot of people are ashamed that they watch porn. Why? Everyone watches porn, including..Yes, women. Sex should be celebrated.
It's worse when it comes to nudity. Some ***** complains sex and nudity in a movie...Well ***** you **** too. You love the cock.

I didn't know today was get on your soapbox day.

Because after you have to take a shower to get all the juices off or you get sticky an "sandy" like.

People in Western society, particularly the U.S., have a huge hang-up on sex thanks to the Puritan roots that were so prevalent during the founding of this country. They were WAY hung up on sex and viewed it as dirty and sinful except for the express and specific purpose of pro-creation. To say they were sexually repressed is an understatement. Somehow, these views managed to permeate much of the other offshoot religious factions that populated the country as it progressed and, because our country is really pretty young by most standards, we still have not come out of that mindset. Places like much of Europe, for example, that have been around for a long time have evolved past these hang-ups much more than we have. Japan is another great example. Even China has some more advanced views on the subject than most Americans do, which is somewhat frightening. We're a very voyeuristic society with seemingly more interest in what everyone else is doing than what we are doing ourselves. The tabloid papers and cult of celebrity are testament to that. To all those people who have these hang-ups, all I can say is "boy are you missing out on some incredible fun".

Sex used to be celebrated, now its so taboo its ridiculous.

every once in a while, the hype reeks of repressed sexuality.
I mean, just a glance at the first page and you're like "I guess it's spring or something"

today is such a day.

Wow. The Hype is horny today. LOL
Spring.

Sex is beautiful in the Spring time!

Anyway, I've thought a lot about this because it's mind-bending madness that without sex, none of us would be here, and that means that ultimately we have sex to thank for all of our great acheivements as a species on planet Earth.
And EVERYone wants to have sex, and thinks about it a lot.
Even people who feel asexual or have a diminished libido think "Why don't I want sex as much anymore?!?"
And of course, the insanity of how my Mom and Dad would let us watch horror movies where people were beaten, whipped, flayed, burned, beheaded, mutilated, eaten alive, etc.
But if a man and woman were shown to be in love and having sex, they'd flip the freak out and run at the speed of light to go and stand in front of the screen and try to fastforward.

That's madness.

My feeling is that at the root of it, sex has become "dirty/taboo/shameful" because people feel embarrassed about their OWN sexuality and feel inadequate...so when

w00ps, gotta go.

People just can't perform it right.

In all honesty, this country is way too repressed and conservative when it comes to sex. Religion has alot to do with that.

It's weird about the religion because God created man, who is nude and wants sex. God encourages sex.

(Correct me if I'm wrong on this)

After God banished Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, he also punished them for their sin by giving them modesty, so they realized that being naked was "wrong" and covered up. That's the idea pervading society right now, that being naked, seeing other people naked, and having sex is somehow "sinful" and wrong.

Some people embaressed about it,it's not that they don't like it, it's just that they don't wanna go public about it,that's why it's called "a personal life" Some women get mad if they watch a women get naked on screen in the movies..I mean do you wanna watch naked guys on screen with thier penises flapping around? People watch porn when they are in the mood for it,not cause they wanna watch a good movie.

I don't get the hang-ups about sex. My parents answered every question I could think of asking about sex as soon as I was old enough to understand the answer, and I have never understood why its considered 'rude' or 'dirty' or any of the other words people stutter over when you say the mysterious 'S' word.

Strange how so many girls in college talk about 'laying back and going with it' and aren't sure how to talk to their boyfriends about how they can enjoy it more.
