The 2012 prophecy (which isn't even a prophecy. It's just the ending of a calendar...so, archaeologists long after we're dead could find a 2008 calendar and say that we thought December 31st, 2008 was when the world would stop, , but anyway...), gives a DAY for the end, December 21st.

The Bible says that no man, NO man, will know the DAY or the hour.

So, one of them is wrong.

And no on does know. To truely know something is to be 100% sure and no one is 100% sure. I've heard Dec. 21st, Dec. 23rd, and Dec. 15th. What do you expect, the end to occur on Dec. 33? It's a day no one knows, must be it according to your logic.

The Bible says that it's power of prophecy comes from God, and God said that prophecies that come from anyone other than God, are a Satanic deceit, and the Mayans did not recieve their "knowledge" from Christ.

If you want to believe in Revelations, that great, but there is NO way that 2012 is involved.

How do you know the Mayan's didn't receive their knowledge from God? Were you there? Are you a Mayan? Do you know God personally?

This isn't about US being sure...it's about the supernatural font of "knowledge" being sure.
It's not a "prophecy" if it's a guess. A prophecy is when, through some foreknowledge, a future event is FORETOLD, correctly...not guessed about.

I don't know that the Mayans didn't recieve their knowledge from a God-like creator of the universe, but I already explained why we know that they weren't affiliated with the BIBLICAL GOD.

That God was very explicit in his laws, which contradict the laws of the Mayan Gods...he commanded people to have NO other Gods but him, while the Mayans had many Gods.


You don't seem to understand that there is such a thing as simple logic and it DOES apply to whether or not 2012 can be linked to Christian prophecy.
