Are there any major heroes who DON'T have a parallel?

Anything for them? I'm sure there are some parodies of them somewhere.

The turtles ARE parodies. They're essentially spoofs of Daredevil & X-Men.
1. DD was trained by Stick & fights the Hand, the Turtles were trained by Splinter & fight the Foot.
2. Look at their personalities; Leonardo basically acts like Cyclops, Raph acts like Wolverine, Mikey acts like Iceman & Donatello-well, more like Reed but also like Forge.

I know about the connections between Daredevil and TMNT, I've never heard or made comparisons to the X-Men though. I don't think they were originally intended to be based off of certain X-Men. The first issue of TMNT showed them all as bad asses, I think issue 2 is where they first showed unique personalities.
