DC Animation Are we overdue for a new Batman animated show?

I think the Avatar/Korra creators need to be tapped for this. Or just let them head an entire new DCAU on HBO Max. Cartoon Network would never get behind it. Maybe put it on Adult Swim since the conventional wisdom is that only adults like action cartoons these days.

I do not think action cartoons are what Adult Swim wants at the moment.

I mean, I definitely wouldn’t say no to it, but I kind of want an animated take on Batman that’s a little more of the moment and a new way into the character/mythology for this generation. Not to make anyone feel old or anything, but if they just freshened up BTAS it would be like if they were still churning out Superfriends cartoons in the early 2000s.

Dini and Burnett and Ty Templeton are doing a new comic in that universe and tbh that’s good enough for me.
