MJ doesn't look like an old lady. Peter will actually be in high school for more than the first 30 minutes of the film like Stan did it. We'll get a Peter that isn't monotoned! The list goes on and on.

Secondly, I am not watching this if it is an origin story reboot. I am not watching a complete reboot when the first movie of the entire franchise was less than 10 years ago. How stupid. If they decide to sort of go where the third left off but on its own, like a complete Spidey story and he already has his powers, etc...But...not gonna watch an origin film.

I would say the best news to this franchise ever was when they greenlighted SM1. Without that news, you would never get reboot news

Rebooting within 5 years...lame SM4 could have made huge bank. But, you know what they did? They ****ed with Raimi and he left. What is Sony going to do with the next director and creative team? **** with them too. Laura and Avi Arad are still running this thing. If you all think you are going to get something drastically different when the same big wigs are still in charge of the franchise, you are all naive and dead wrong.

The logical side of me knows it should be the third (neutral) option. But the overenthusiastic and hopeful side of me right know is bursting with ideas in the possibilities a new take can give us.

So I'm going with the first.

We are not saying that this reboot will be terrible and that we won't see it. We WILL be seeing it opening night. We are just saying that we wanted to see S-M4 with the same cast and crew and a reboot is a bad idea.
