Never saw the problem with the mask thing in this film or the Rami series

Not even when he unmasked himself in front of the whole train? Or when he put his whole suit to save MJ in that alley but somehow he didn't have two seconds to put his mask on (but he took 5 seconds to look directly to MJ before hiding himself)?

You should expect any different from me as that's the way it was. Spider-man lost his mask every single time in Raimi's movies, no matter if it was in front of dozens of people. Only times Garfield's Spider-man lost his mask was for a great purpose, like the child he was trying to save, or because he was captured by the police.

And as you said, it was for a greater purpose so that Capt Stacy could learn his identity and eventually change his outlook on Spider-man..."I was wrong. This city needs you..."

And in turn, I appreciate stuff Raimi did

I can't wait. We'll finally get a funny Spider-Man, they'll finally leave his mask on. No Power Ranger Green Goblin. Venom for more then 2 seconds. Sandman ISN'T Uncle Ben's killer. MJ doesn't look like an old lady. Peter will actually be in high school for more than the first 30 minutes of the film like Stan did it. We'll get a Peter that isn't monotoned! The list goes on and on.

How disappointing it is to see the part in bold not realized

You can count me as one of those tired of Spider-Man in high school, I prefer Spidey as an adult, he is a Spider-Man, not a Spider-Boy

This Spider-Man is not as quippy as people hoped, Maguire quipped quipped more in his first movie than this guy did in his first movie

As someone tired from symbiotes, particularly for being a gamer, I hope we don't get any hint of the symbiote in this series
Venom in Spider-Man 3 the movie is Venom done right, a 1 note villain with excessive unjust hate toward Spider-Man, he had the most fitting ending anyone can make for him

At least we now know for certain who shot Ben, cause we saw him on screen shooting Ben, can't be Sandman unless they turn that guy to Sandman =p
