Let's say that in the past someone wronged you to the point that you felt your life was over. Like your best friend and girlfriend cheating on you or a co worker getting you fired unjustly.

Now you have an opportunity to repay the person back for their misdeed.

I tend to hold a pretty bad grudge... so I guess that makes me vengeful.

Like anything, it depends on the circumstances.

I myself try to be forgiving, but I think a lot of times I can be quite petty.

then it means their time has come, being angry at someone for doing so isn't going to bring them back so why should i bother wasting my energy.

besides, personal belongings can be replaced and sentimental ones don't necessarily have to be there in order for you to conjur up the emotions and time period they represent.

It depends on the circumstances but most of the time I can't be bothered to be vengeful. If you hurt me, I'll give you sh1t right then and there. Forgive? Maybe. But I surely won't forget.

i'm more likely to forgive women or close male freinds....but then again i'm more likely to hold a long grudge against someone but eventualy forget about it....
