Sequels Arguments for Chameleon

I see a lot of chameleon bashing on this site; I personally think he could be a fine villain for a Spider-Man 5 or something.


Think about it.

Spider-Man 4: We have the Lizard and Kraven. Kraven tries to hunt the Lizard, and Spider-Man has to fight Kraven to save his teacher. Eventually Kraven becomes obsessed with Spidey, and pulls a Kraven's last hunt. Spidey helps restore Connor's Humanity, and the movie ends.

Spider-Man 5: Kraven's brother Dimitri, comes to the United States to exact revenge for his brother's death. He brings with him his body guard/ personal thug, Aleksei Sytsevich. Despite his power, Sytsevich can not defeat the Spider, and thus undergoes the tests and the suit to become Rhino.

Thus Rhino provides the movie with the brawn, while Chameleon provides it with the drama. They could also delve into Chameleon's warped psyche. At some point Chameleon starts imitating his brother, believing he is actually Kraven

at some point, Chameleon would destroy Connors serum which allows him to stay human, which would result in Connors turning into the Lizard full time for Spidey-6, and go into full super villain mode; think Alligators, snakes, lizards, komodo dragons overruning New York city in the summer time.

Let's just worry about Spider-Man 4 for now. As it practically writes itself if they are using THE LIZARD and KRAVEN.

Actually, your idea could be good.
The first three movie was the Goblin trilogy. Next would be the Lizard trilogy. But there would need to be some changes, the Lizard would have to appear in SM 5.

Thus Chameleon provides the setup for the Lizard trilogy with the plan.

You have any idea how much screen time that would require? That is like 3 Kraven stories. It should just be called Kraven the Hunter at that point.

Of course screen time would be divided equally between both villains as needed. The revenge story will take a back sit to the Lizard & Kraven story.
