I don't necessarily see how this is going to be a bomb, I myself am quite optimistic about it.

I meant a financial bomb. Arnold's films haven't exactly been tearing up the box office lately.

I do think it looks good though, even if Sam Worthington still can't hide his Aussie accent to save his life.

Well to be honest I didn't realize but it is going head to head with Noah, which may hurt its box office a tad little bit.

Yeah, it might. Although I think Noah probably won't fare too well either. Every person I know is like, "They're seriously making a Noah's Ark movie?"

Although it might appeal to deeply religious people, I don't know. Or maybe fantasy fans.

Ironically, Noah might be too on the nose for the religious right and drive them away. They have an idealized version of those stories and from what I've heard of Noah it's more faithful than they'd like to accept.

So there's a chance both films may bomb, or the audience will go see Sabotage instead because it's "safer" than the Noah tale.

Yeah, that's possible. I think both movies look decent enough but nothing I've seen from either one makes me feel the need to see it in a theater.

For 2 days straight I kept saying "Sabotage" in an Ahnuld accent. :ikyn

Probably it would sound like "Shaabootauge."

Yeah so... this movie comes out TOMORROW and there are only four reviews so far.

Must be goooooooood.

Yeah its a bad sign when studios embargo reviews till the last minute

Worse is when they don't let the critics screen it at all. So it has a chance to not be a total dud.

I'm kind of surprised at that, actually. I thought that if Arnold had ONE chance to be taken seriously again, this might be it. But... apparently not.

i know that i will like the movie because by now i know what kind of movie i will get based on trailers. they are showing everything in the trailers.

we will get R rated action, bloody kills, Arnie with guns, cursing, smoking cigars and lots of badass one liners. this is what the movie is. they dont have to like it but they have to be very stupid to expect something different

With Wings as Eagles sounded promising but it's apparently dead in the water. I guess he felt humanity would be better served by making Terminator 5. :o

This one is going to get blasted critically. It's nasty, like Death Wish before it turned into a comedy franchise.

I saw this tonight and I personally really enjoyed it, definitely the best thing that Arnold's done since his comeback to film. It was probably the most different in terms of tone and character as well.

I would give it a 9/10

This movie was pretty terrible. Arnold had the best acting in the film, so that should say a lot. His character was actually the most organic and natural of all the others and that's not really what makes an Arnold movie memorable or enjoyable.

The acting and visual effects were so amateur that it dragged down whatever about this movie could be considered interesting into an overall poor movie experience.

I'm used to Arnold being in movies of a lower merit but they didn't even have his character display any hokey pulpy cheese that we all love about watching him on screen. His acting wasn't too bad, just uninteresting. I was waiting for an awesome one liner.

All the the other characters displayed the cheese and awful lines but they r not who we wanna hear them from!

I can't stress enough how poor this cast is and how cheap the effects are.

I would have to fully disagree, I thought the action was very well shot and the perfect tone for an Arnold comeback vehicle, to each his own however I didn't really care about the other characters much my main focus was on Arnold and he did the best acting job he's done in years which was a real breath of fresh air.

As a regular film I would give it a 6.5/10

As an Arnold film 9/10

Yea Arnold was more or less believable, which made for one of his better actual acting exhibits. Still doesn't forgive the crappiness of the supporting cast, just terrible performances or some of the (numerous) lines that stick out for just being utterly ridiculous and indicative.

The action was at times, decent, but all that was negated by cheap muzzle flashes and blood effects quality that my friend uses on his own computer, aka not Hollywood or theatrically released. Just noticeably terrible VFX, horrendous effort or use of resources.

The ending scene was pretty good. Actually was the type of Arnold I wanted to see despite the lack of entertaining dialogue that I'm accustomed to anticipating from him.

Still a badmovie due to the low quality of vital elements that make up a good or enjoyable movie to me.

For once I actually wanted something different to see Arnold in and that's what I got.
