Comedy Arrested Development - Part 1

1 episode into the new version of Season 4 and there's already a new running gag that will probably last all season.

Already liking this version of season 4 much more than the original.

It's still not as enjoyable as having all of the characters together, but this re-mix is a marked improvement over the original season 4.

Guess it is time to start a rewatch earlier than expected.

Anyone like the new running gag?

in that every time that they show scenes from the previous three seasons, there is a watermark that says "Property of Twentieth Century Fox."

Jeffrey Tambor to Appear in ‘Arrested Development’ Season 5

George Bluth Sr. will be back.

Despite the swirl of harassment allegations against him, actor Jeffrey Tambor will appear in the upcoming fifth season of “Arrested Development,” Variety has learned. A Netflix spokesperson confirmed the news about “Arrested,” which is set to return to the streaming service later this month.

Later this month ?

That’s cool, I was just watching the first few episodes yesterday again. It’s a classic.

To be honest, I will be very dissapointed if the Han Solo movie doesn’t have a Ron Howard narration and Lucille bluth lol

I kind of want to see Ron Howard narrate Happy Days, in the same style as Arrested Development.

So nice to see them all back together like that.

Hyped!! Now I just need to watch the remixed season 4 to prep...

I can't put my finger on it, but something seems...different about how Ron Howard is narrating. Or maybe it's just the delivery.

Looking forward to this, though. And with no Veep on this year, this'll be my Tony Hale fix.

THIS MONTH??!! I was not prepared! Bless you, Netflix!!!!

Yeah noticed that as well, not sure how to explain, it but it seems Ron is aware he is doing the narration for AD

What's different about season 4 now in this new version? Is this something Netflix officially changed?

The new version

Has new narration from Ron Howard I believe and the each episode has several members of the Bluth Family per episode instead of one. Also, the new version has 22 episodes instead of 13.

Was there a lot more added content? Or is it just they broke them down into like 22 min episodes?

I am going to have to watch it, LOL!

I think it’s the delivery. Still pretty excited, either way!

I think it's more of the latter, but I don't remember the regular episodes of Season 4 to know for sure.

Ron Howard does take a bit of a shot at one of his Happy Days co-stars in episode 11. It was a funny joke of course. I don't remember if that was in the regular version.
